"Woonhak! please.."
"nooo, i don't want to!"
"but you promised!"
you stared at the boy in front of you with wide eyes and pout on your lips. it was your best friend, Woonhak.
you sighed as you grabbed his arm and pulled him into the kitchen.
"we are baking for the school festival and that is final!"
the boy whined once more while he helped you take out all of the ingredients for the cakes.
"why did you agree to this, y/n?"
"because."
he rolled his eyes as he looked down at the instructions in front of him.
"you sound like my mum"
"Woonhak just.. just help me please?"
you grabbed your best friends arm once again and looked up at him with a look of desperation.
he stared down at you for what felt like hours before he finally let out a huff.
"..fine, how many do we need to make?"
you jumped back in excitement with a quiet "yes!" before calming yourself down and putting ingredients into a bowl.
"we need at least one hundred"
"one hundred?!"

you softly hummed to yourself as you were mixing the dry ingredients together for the second batch of cakes, not paying attention to what the boy next to you was doing.
and you soon learned that would be a mistake because all of a sudden your vision went blurry with white.
you looked down at your clothes with a gasp, seeing that they were now covered in flour. you then looked back up at Woonhak, who had a huge grin on his face and looked as if he was holding in laughter.
"oh you are so dead Kim Woonhak!"
you reached your hand into the bowl next to you and threw a handful of flour over at the boy who immediately stopped laughing.
"not so funny now is it-
before you could finish speaking, Woonhak threw more flour at you. this action caused the two of you to break out into a flour fight.
the two of you ran around the kitchen for a while, just throwing flour back and forth. that was until you felt your foot slip from underneath you.
as you fell, Woonhak was quick to catch you by the arms before you could hit the floor. what he didn't take into account though, was that he was also stood on the flour that made you fall.
so instead of saving you.. he fell on top of you.
luckily, the boy still managed to move his hand behind your head to avoid any harsh injuries.
your eyes were still closed as you fell to the floor, and you only opened them when you heard a quiet "ouch"
as you opened your eyes, you almost moved your head back at how close your face was to Woonhak's.
"i'm so sorry y/n! it's all my fault you fell-"
the poor boy spoke worriedly as he stood up and held out a hand to help you up. you happily took his hand and stood up before pausing for a second.
"you could've killed me you idiot!"
you jokingly hit Woonhak's shoulder, pushing him back as you laughed together.
"hey kids what's going on in here- oh"
your mother must have arrived home from work as you were in your own world of flour fighting. the two of you smiled over at her, your clothes and faces still covered in flour.
"okay.. you two go shower, i'm going to clean this mess up"
