"Hey Sungho, have you seen my- oh". you had come running down the stairs with your hair up in a towel after showering, wanting to ask your brother a question, but it turns out he had invited all of his friends over.

there was an awkward silence as you stared at them all in shock, feeling embarrassment at the state they are seeing you in. and it doesn't help that you have the biggest crush on one of them.

"what did you want to ask?", you brothers voice broke the silence as you awkwardly smiled at his friends who were now trying to divert their attention anywhere but you.

"i was going to ask if you had seen my hair brush". as you spoke, you couldn't help but make eye contact with your crush, Leehan. you saw Sungho shake his head in the corner of your eye.

"oh, i haven't seen it. i'll bring it to you if i find it". you sheepishly smiled again and mumbled a quiet apology before rushing up the stairs and into your room, slamming the door shut behind you.

you forcefully closed your eyes and laid your head down onto your vanity rather harshly, you may or may not have a bruise forming later.

"gosh that was so embarrassing, i can't believe Leehan saw me like this". you groaned as you lifted your head up and stared into the mirror in front of you.

you tried to forget about what just happened by doing your skin care routine. it wasn't long before a knock was heard on your bedroom door.

assuming it was your brother you shouted a quick "you can come in!" , and continued putting on the face mask you was holding. but alas it was not your brother, but your crush.

looking up and seeing him in the reflection of your mirror was one of the last things you ever expected to happen. "Sungho told me to bring this up for you.."

he looked down at the floor and held out your hair brush. you appreciated that he was trying not to look at you as he noticed how embarrassed you still was from earlier.

"you can look up, i don't mind". you had no idea where this newfound confidence had come from, but you was loving it.

Leehan slowly lifted his head and looked straight into your eyes with a shy smile. "sorry, i saw you was embarrassed earlier so i didn't want to make it worse".

the way he spoke so softly made you start to like him even more. returning the smile, you took the hair brush from his hands with a small "thank you".

as you turned back to the mirror to take your hair out of the towel and brush it, you saw Leehan still stood in your doorway, staring.

you then spun in your chair to look at him with a questioning gaze. "is there anything else i can help you with?". he let out an awkward cough before speaking.

"can i um.. can i brush your hair for you?". you felt your jaw drop slightly and your cheeks heating up at his request, gulping a little before nodding.

"oh uh, yeah, sure". you couldn't help but notice a subtle smile that came back onto his face as he walked fully into your room and stood behind you at the vanity.

your now sudden close proximity was making your face heat up even more, and you could see how red your cheeks were in the mirror.

you watched through the reflection as Leehan gently took your hair out of the towel and started brushing it out. the coldness of your damp hair made you flinch slightly, causing the boy behind you to laugh.

you couldn't help but stare at him through the mirror being so focused on not hurting you while brushing your hair. the way his eyes frowned slightly when a knot got caught on the brush made your gaze soften.

there was always some sort of tension between the two of you ever since Sungho introduced you to his friends a few months ago. feelings were definitely there but both of you were way too in denial to admit anything just yet.

"Leehan are you still up here?", your brothers voice was heard from outside your bedroom door, causing the quiet atmosphere to be ruined.

Leehan flinched slightly at the voice and almost dropped your brush on the floor, the two of you make eye contact through the mirror and let out a laugh.

the boy then placed your brush onto the vanity next to you and stood up fully before making his way to the door. just as he was about to open in, Sungho barged in.

Leehan jumped back slightly and stared at the older boy in shock after almost being hit by the door. "oh, you are here. the foods arrived".

Leehan just nodded before glancing over at you one last time with a smile before leaving the room. Sungho just looked back and forth between you and the direction his friend had just left from.

"did i interrupt something in here?". you immediately shook your head with a sweet smile. "no, nothing! what food did you get?".

your brother squinted his eyes a little before relaxing his shoulders. "pizza. and yes, i ordered enough for you to have some too".

you sent him a thanking nod as he left your room, and you were left with your thoughts. would anything else have happened between you and Leehan if your brother didn't interrupt?

pushing those thoughts to the back of your mind, you ran down the stairs quite like you did earlier that night, and grabbed some pizza before all of it was eaten by your brother and his friends.

"y/n, join us!". and that was how you was now sat on the sofa with your brother on the right side and Leehan on the left. and no, no one noticed that you was leaning closer to your left the entire time you was sat down.
