A fan made Universe tale about a girl who was there when it all went down, only from her own personal experience.
A/N: the beginning parts of the story will her memory from 2012-2019. After that will be from 2019-2023
Its been six months since the undertaking, since Tommy died, since Grandma Moira was arrested for being complicit within the undertaking. Oliver and I have spent the last six months on an Island called 'Lian Yu'. Mandarin for purgatory. This was the island that they found my father on, after being stranded here for five years. He spent the last six months training me in combat and how to survive and defend myself against anyone who sought to hurt me. But the training was of course, going to be difficult because all we had was our wits, our minds, and I had to listen to whatever he said so I can learn.

We were in the bunker, Oliver, Diggle, Felicity and I, we were trying to figure out where the device was so we could stop Malcom Merlyn from using the Earthquake machine to level the glades. It was soon getting to be sunset slowly, and Grandma Moira had taken to the media about the undertaking happening as we were watching the news as Oliver was starting to suit up. After about 10 minutes, Oliver knelt down to me after asking diggle and felicity to give us the room. He took a deep breath then spoke. "Chrissy, I know with what we are up against, is going to be HIGHLY dangerous and right now, I would like for you to go with Detective Lance to find the Earthquake machine and try to look out for him." I looked around him a bit sad. "B-b-but, I don't have a suit" I exclaimed. He gave me a reluctant look and said "That is why I will have Detective Lance give you a kevlar vest to wear while you are out there, yes it will be big on you but, if you wear that, it will put me at ease and show me that you are safe" he lightly chuckled when he mentioned that the vest would be big on me but I understood what he was saying. I knew that this would be my first time in the field, helping with something completely dangerous but I wasn't as ready seeing as an eleven year old child was going into a dangerous situation, but I was safe in Lance's hands. I had followed him to a old, abandoned subway where there stood the Earthquake machine, left unattended and no defense, which made it easy to get to. I guarded Quinten as Felicity guided him on how to stop the machine and he followed her instructions but Merlyn bad a back up and that set off. After the second machine was set off, I was quickly ushered by Detective Lance to get out as she followed behind me so I wouldn't get crushed in the rubble. As we had both made it back you yhe streets, Laurel came out running from CNRI after Tommy had saved her and the hood, my father, had run in to see Tommy one last time before he died. After the funeral, we had left for Lian Yu after Oliver spent some time talking to Laurel. After we left for the Airstrip, he stopped and knelt down to me "You were very brave out there Chrissy, in the darkest moment, you were a brave little girl in the face of danger. I'm proud of you for that." Oliver smiled a bit at me. "Why are we going away daddy?" I asked curiously as he stood up and we walked near a plane. "Well, I want to get away from starling for a bit and I want to keep you safe, so we have to go away to someplace where I can train you." He said as he helped me load my bag into the plane and helps me in and gets himself in then we take off to Lian Yu.

It was within the early morning that Oliver had woken me up as usual. It was time for training once again. I had gotten up and taken a drink of my water and some stretching. "Just so you are aware, today I will give you a small head start, I won't tell you how long it will be, you just need to run from me and dodge any of my attacks weather it be an arrow or a trap set by me. You got it!" I nodded as I finished stretching. "If you can manage to evade me while I hunt you, you can relax the whole day and if you do get tagged, back to the bamboo sticks we go." I smiled a bit as I nodded. He would give me a count down from three, then on go, I bolted off from the plane, heading off south. I ran through the forest, not looking back. It was only a matter of time before he would start to chase me down. I kept my eyes open for any traps or any possible landmines to avoid while running deep into the woods. I made sure to take different paths to steer clear of any arrows that might get shot at me. 10 minutes go by and I gain some distance from the plane, running along the forest edge, near the open water. Fwoosh I hear an arrow fly by, he is near and not far behind. I kept running as I went back into the forest to distract him of where I was going. Fwoosh Another arrow flies past my head as I run through the forest. He was gaining on me quickly as I slowly start to loose my stamina and my breath. I slowly start to loose my focus and set of a net, trapping me a few feet in the air. "Well, back to the bamboo sticks then?" Oliver ran up to me stuck in the net. "Yep, back to the bamboo sticks. Plus how'd you not see that coming?" He questioned as he shot an arrow at the top of the net. I fell to the ground THUD! "I guess I lost focus as I ran out of breath which led to me losing my stamina back there." Oliver helped me back up on my feet and we walked back to the plane. We took a break to get some water and something to eat then we went outside in the field to practice with the bamboo sticks. We practiced for hours into the afternoon when we heard a plane in the distance. Oliver grabbed his bow and slings his quiver on his back and tells me to stay put, just in case something bad happens. He left the plane for a little while and later I heard a landmine go off and I thought something bad had happened till I saw Diggle and Felicity with Oliver. "What happened? I heard a landmine go off." I asked worriedly. "Felicity accidentally stepped on a mine and I grabbed her off it and it exploded" I nodded as it started to all make sense of what had taken place.
After Diggle and Felicity had settled themselves a bit, they had asked for us to come back to Starling City as things haven't been going well within the last six months. Oliver had looked at them, wishing that they hadn't asked for us to come back since we've been doing well. After some thinking, Oliver was reluctant and gave in and said to get our bags ready as they had called for a plane to get us was called for us to take back to Starling city. After hours flying back to Starling City, we ride in a limo and get driven through the Glades. It looked horrible, barren, riddled with banners and a few people walking along the sidewalks. I sat back in my seat after seeing what had become of the glades. "It's really gotten bad after what happened." I lowered my head a bit. "We will figure out how to save the city this time kiddo." I looked up at him in slight disbelief. "W-wait... you're putting the hood back on?" I stammered a bit as I asked him. I didn't think he'd want to after spending six months on Lian Yu. "Well if we are to come back here, might as well do something different to save this city and it won't be a list and by being the murderer I was being. And I want to honor Tommy's memory by doing things differently." I nodded, understanding what he was saying. Felicity had looked at Oliver and she had brought up to him that Queen Consolidated was in need of a CEO and since Grandma Moira was in Iron Heights, that it would fall him to lead the family company into fruition and bring it off its feet. Oliver sighed and looked down a bit then looked at me. "Well, if I'm going to be the Arrow, I need something to do in the day, so, might as well. And Chrissy, I want you there with me just in case, ok?" "Ok dad, but uh, where will I do my classwork at?" He grinned a bit. "You can do that in a private office space that I will find and you can work out of there, sound fair?" I took a moment to think about it, then nodded. "Yeah, that sounds fair."
