                                                                           Four Months Later...

It's been four months since I was comatose. During that time, I've been finally able to be on the field and learn about how to help save the city and fight against the others while learning to control my newfound powers. Fire manipulation is a dangerous ability to have as I am still young and not fully capable of controlling my powers. To expand on what I can do is that with my fire I can fly like F.i.r.e.s.t.o.r.m, Summon a bow and summon arrows, throw fireballs, create small flame shields, and absorb fire and reuse it to my will.

In the past four months, My grandmother, Moira, was running her campaign to run for mayor as well as Sebastian Blood, a pawn in a larger scheme. During the four months, we've been going against a man named Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke. He was on the Island with Oliver when he was away so I have some knowledge about their past from the stories he told back on Lian Yu. We were already preparing to find a way to cure the Mirakuru so we could stop Slade. During the afternoon, we had to attend Moira's Campaign event, it was long but it was something to be there and support her.

After the event, we headed to the limo to head back to the mansion as she had something to say. It was only moments later that we were rammed into and tied up, I was meta-cuffed so couldn't burn the ropes off and escape. As I woke up, realizing I was cuffed and heard Slade talking, I looked to my left and right, Grandma Moira... Aunt Thea... they were tied up as well... were we at Slade's mercy? What's happening? I had tears in my eyes as I looked at Oliver, begging and crying for him to do something as I was just a scared child, not wanting to die. As Slade walked behind us, I was ridden with fear. Slade had spoken to Oliver about this promise he made and that people have to die for my dad to suffer. I was kicked down by Slade as I was spared from death. Slade and Oliver bickered back and forth as I lay on the cold hard ground.

Soon, Moira stood up, sacrificing herself to Slade to keep us alive. I screamed and cried for her to not do this as Thea and Oliver had done the same. Slade pulled the trigger but no bullet was fired. But he spoke again about my dad not having the same courage she had as he pulled his katana and stabbed her right in the chest.

"Only one other person has to die till you know what it's like to suffer..."

Slade had walked away after Moira's body had dropped to the ground, cold and dead. We lay there cold, miserable, mourning, and exhausted. When we finally got free of our restraints, Oliver had taken me to a separate lair and laid me on a makeshift bed so I could sleep and rest up. He spent the rest of the time keeping his eye on me as I slept.

After I had woken up in the morning, we planned a funeral for Grandma Moira, but it was too much for the both of us to even go to the funeral itself. The trauma was too much. Even for me. I was still shaken up by what had happened. The events of the past night had replayed in my head. It had happened also quickly that it finally came to mind that this was going to spark a much bigger fight than we anticipated. Oliver and I had spent much of the day, sitting separately with the secret base, sitting in silence.

Hours had passed as we heard footsteps coming in, it was Felicity and Diggle. They found us, but how? Diggle had explained how he and Felicity had found them... of course, Amanda Waller would know about the secret lair. After listening to them talk, Oliver stood up and then looked at me. He knew that this had to end one way or another. We both knew that this was something that needed to be put to rest, a fight that needed to end, here and now.
