The day passed, and I eventually decided to take a walk. Remembering the several places that III showed me, I started to head out after telling Vessel I was leaving so he wouldn't look for me. With the sun setting in the distance, the sky turned a beautiful reddish-orange color as I walked into the forest.

I observed the landscape surrounding me as I walked, not really paying attention to where I was going specifically. I just went where my feet would lead me.

I eventually recognized the path I was in and started walking along it, knowing it led to the place where there was a clearing between two mountains. I enjoyed seeing this place, and with the sunset, I was even more eager to see it again, wondering if the view would be prettier with the red-orange sky. As I walked there, I started seeing someone in the distance. Someone I soon recognized as II sitting on a large rock with a sketchbook in his hands and various colored pencils next to him. I didn't want to disturb him as he was drawing, but I wanted to let him know I was there so I wouldn't startle him or look like a creep just watching him in silence.

« Hello, II. » I said quietly as I walked over to him and sat on the grass, next to the rock he sat on.

II looked down at me, seeming surprised to see me here.

« Hi. I didn't expect to find you here... » He said, giving me a little smile before looking at the view and going back to drawing.

I smiled back. « What are you drawing? » I asked, hoping I wasn't disturbing him with my questions as he was drawing.

« Just the landscape. I enjoy drawing them, especially when the sun is setting like that. » He said as he showed me.

It was a drawing of the view in front of us, and it was honestly really well-made.

« You're very good! » I said, smiling at him.

I saw his blue eyes light up as I complimented his art. « Thank you... » He said, seeming content with receiving compliments about his drawing.

« No problem. » I said, feeling warm inside after seeing his reaction to a simple compliment.

A comfortable silence then set in as he focused on adding some colors to his already very pretty piece of art.

« Do you like drawing, Dahlia? » II asked out of nowhere, seeming curious.

I thought about it. « I do like drawing, but it never really looks like anything when I try doing so. » I answered, chuckling.

II chuckled as well. « We could just say it's abstract art... » He said.

I laughed a little as well and smiled as I looked back at the sunset, the sky slowly getting darker.

« Do you find it enjoyable being stuck with us? » II asked, a hint of playfulness in his voice.

« I mean... in all honesty, you guys are very kind and patient, and I appreciate this. I actually like being here. » I answered.

II looked back at me and smiled after just staring for a few seconds. « I'm glad. » He said before turning his head back to the view in front of us.
