Once I was finally back at the camp, I went into my cabin, ignoring IV and II, who were asking why I was in such a hurry. I got inside only to see Dahlia, fast asleep in my bed. I was worried but... I had to admit that this was an adorable sight.

Alright... maybe I'll figure it all out tomorrow? I can't wake her up.

I slowly walked over to the bed and sighed as I lied down next to her, hoping she wouldn't mind too much about waking up next to me. I couldn't seem to be able to fall asleep easily. I had to expect that... after what Sleep had said. Only worry filled my mind right now. Okay, being next to Dahlia helped, but not completely. Why was everything going downhill now?!

Without noticing, I hugged Dahlia close to myself for comfort, but accidentally woke her up. I only noticed as she spoke...

« Vessel? » She said in a tired voice, her eyes half opened.

« A-ah... Dahlia... you're awake. Are you okay? » I quickly asked, sitting up and letting go of her.

« ... Yes? What's going on? You look worried. » She said, sitting up as well.

« No... it's nothing. Go back to sleep. » I said, cupping her cheek, earning a beautiful smile from her.

She lied back down but looked at me as if she was expecting me to lie down as well. I gave her a small smile to at least try to hide my face of worry and lied down next to her, wrapping my arms around her body once again.

I had no idea why Vessel looked so worried and anxious. I wanted to comfort him, but I was too tired to think of a way to do so. For now, I just focused on getting my hours of sleep.

The next morning, Vessel was already gone. He was outside with the others who were all awake as well, despite how early it was. I took the necessary time to get ready before I headed out, going to sit by the campfire with Vessel, II, III, and IV. They all greeted me. As for Vessel... only a small hi. He still looked worried, and I didn't like it. What was he so worried about anyway?

I took a seat next to Vessel and placed my hand upon his shoulder. « Is everything alright, Vessel? Was troubling you? » I asked, worried for his well-being.

« Nothing... It's okay. » He said, seeming to force himself to smile.

« It's not because of me, right? I didn't do anything wrong, I hope? » I asked, becoming slightly worried myself.

« No... no! It's not you! » Vessel quickly said, wrapping his arm around me and hugging me close to him.

« Then why won't you tell me what it is? » I asked.

« It's not important... I'm totally fine, okay? » Vessel said in a soft voice as he tried to assure me that everything was alright.

I wasn't dumb. I knew that something was wrong. I needed to know what it was.
