Navigating the echoing corridors of Jaewon High School, a young man with a sun-kissed complexion and above-average height strode purposefully. His jet-black hair flowed smoothly, and he sported a pair of enigmatic sunglasses that radiated an aura of intrigue, drawing the attention of both female admirers and envious male onlookers.
"Oh my God, he's so handsome! Do any of you know his name?" one curious female student inquired.
"We've never seen anyone this good-looking at school, aside from the fashion department's princes and Daniel. He's probably a transfer student, right?" her companion speculated.
"Bummer, another pretty boy," muttered the envious guys.
As he continued his journey, he eventually reached the Fashion Department Room, where an unexpected collision occurred. The individual he bumped into appeared thoroughly agitated.
"Watch where you're going, you fool! Are you picking a fight?!" The tall, slick-haired guy scowled fiercely.
"Oh, sorry about that. I didn't notice. Is this the Fashion Department? I'm a transfer student. Nice to meet you," the mysterious newcomer responded calmly.
"Yeah, yeah," the irritated student grumbled.
'Please don't look at Mira. I just went to the bathroom, and now this guy shows up out of nowhere. Daniel was enough competition, and now him?!' Zack Lee, as he was known, lamented inwardly.
"Quiet down, class. We have a new transfer student."
"A girl?"
"A boy?"
"Please be a girl!"
"You can come inside now," the teacher announced.
"FFFFFUCKKKKKKK," the boys vented their frustrations silently as Rain entered the homeroom.
"He's so handsome!"
"Totally my type."
"Daddy!"
"It really is great to wake up every morning wishing I was as good-looking as them."
"Another pretty boy."
"You can now start with the introductions, Mister," the teacher instructed.
"Good morning, everyone. I'm Rain Alvarez. As you probably guessed, I'm half-Filipino and half-Korean," Rain stated with composure.
"HE'S SO COOOOOOL."
"Those genes mixed perfectly, resulting in his perfect face and build," other girls gushed with hearts in their eyes.
"No kidding, he looks just like Vin Jin from the Vocal and Dance Department with those creepy ass sunglasses, and it's not even sunny," Zack muttered with a piercing glare.
A man with dyed blonde hair expressed curiosity, and Daniel Park, being his friendly self, introduced himself immediately when Rain approached.
"Hello, I'm Daniel Park! Nice to meet you."
"Hello, nice meeting you too."
A girl with auburn hair and large, dark eyes named Mira Kim looked at Rain with admiration.
"Mira's looking at Vin Jin II, huh?" Zack seethed with anger as he glared at Rain.
---
"Zack's punch is lightning-fast, I couldn't even see it!"
"Hey, stop. I'm not proud of it," Zack replied with a touch of narcissism in his voice. 'Talk a little louder!'
"Can they hear this? Newbie? Mira? My strength!"
"I really hate that he's always fighting," Mira admitted.
"Why don't you just go out with him? He's nice to you," someone suggested.
"We did, a while ago. But he got in a fight again."
"As expected of a former boxer in middle school."
"Come to think of it, that piggy's mom must be a piggy too! Pigs are born from pigs HAHAHA," the bullies taunted, and Daniel and Rain overheard.
"Was she happy after giving birth to him? I would've had an abortion LOL,"
"Shut your trap, you've gone too far." Rain responded, loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Y-yeah, it's not cool looking down on and insulting someone's mother." Daniel added.
'Again, in front of Mira,' Zack thought as he kicked a chair, his face red with anger and his gaze even more furious, directed at the new transfer student.
"You're funny, you know that? Get up, you worm."
"Fight in the fashion department!"
"Let's go see!"
"It's the transfer student vs. Zack Lee!"
Zack assumed his boxing stance, trying to provoke Rain. "Let's see what you're made of."
"Why's Rain just standing there? As expected, he only has the looks," other guys speculated.
Jay intervened, stopping Zack mid-fight. "LET GO"
'Now you're dead meat,' Zack thought as he swung his fists at Rain. Something unexpected occurred.
It happened so swiftly that no one with a normal eye could see it, not even Daniel with his perfect, mysterious body.
Zack fainted, collapsing to the ground. Everyone saw this jaw-dropping moment with their eyes bulging out from their sockets. The last thing Zack saw was Rain's eyes, hidden behind those pitch-black sunglasses.
