Meanwhile in Celestic Town, Sinnoh...

Lysandre: "Greetings, Tekiyoku. Thanks for tuning in to this video transmission. We must get more Plates to bring in more Manipulators. Alain will probably leave Kalos soon, but we do not know where he's going next. Be careful of his friends, mainly the spiky-black-haired one. He may become a Manipulator soon and his strength is improving. We'll keep tracking the Plates, but that'll take some time. Are you taking good notes, Matori?"

Matori: "Yes, sir. I'm recording everything as we speak."

Lysandre: "Good. While we wait for Alain's next move... I believe that we've been too nice so far with the rest of the world... Time to turn things up a notch... TEH-ROO!"

Meanwhile in the basement...

Arceus: *thinking* (Alain, your journey is just getting started... Many more trials are to come. You must grow with this mission so that you stand a chance in the final war...)

It's the next morning, Tuesday, July 31st. 9:13am, still in Snowbelle City. We're at a Pokémon Center. A video call just started.

Ash: "Hey, guys! How's it been going?"

Zoey: "Hey, Ash! We're doing fine. Barry is still determined as ever."

Barry: "That's right! I'll get stronger for sure! Oh, we wanna introduce our friend to you. He's joining Zoey and me on our mission."

Kenny: "Greetings. So you're the Ash and Alain I've been told about. My name's Kenny Hudson. I was at Kalos Academy, but Barry and I grew up in the same town in Sinnoh."

Alain: "Hello. So you'll be with Barry and Zoey when we all eventually meet back in Sinnoh?"

Kenny: "Yep. But I have one more year at the academy and I go back in September."

Ash: "Cool. As for us, we finally have two Plates: Ikazuchi and Tsurara, Electric and Ice, respectively. It's been pretty crazy, but now we're about to go to Johto."

Zoey: "Nice. Hey, where's that girl you said you two were traveling with?"

Ash: *looks around*

Dawn: *to the side* "Hi..."

Ash: "Oh, hi." *to the monitor* "She's right here. She's just too shy to be in front of the video call."

Barry: "Well I've been training hard with Zoey. We're ready to go help more people while we wait until we can become Manipulators and then I'll bring Paul back home!"

Alain: "Paul's pretty strong. I don't know if you can bring him back."

Barry: "Then I'll get strong, too! I won't stop until Paul is back home with his friends!"

Alain: "Hmm... You're quite a determined guy. Tell you what, while you 3 wait on us to come to Sinnoh, I know a place you can travel to and help out. There's a village in the Kalos region that I'm familiar with. It's not that prosperous, but it has dedicated citizens that help out. You can go there and help clean up, while hopefully meeting skilled people there to become Manipulators. It's called Kasai Village. I know a Tekiyoku member from there who terrorized the village back in the day, and he probably might do it again, so be careful."

Zoey: "That sounds great!"

Kenny: "Same here, I'm in!"

Alain: "I'll video-call the Village Elder so that he knows you're coming."
