3:39pm. The Mokusetsu gets focused to move forward.

Alain: "Look around for Kowamote. The sooner we find it, the sooner we can rest and Barry can get his training started."

Alain guides them towards some statues located a small distance off of the strip mall they were just at.

Zoey: "Wait, these statues are..."

Alain: "Yes, they're Dialga and Palkia. Let's all split up to search."

They split up on their own. Dawn walks over to Ash.

Dawn: *very nervously* "Uhh, A-- A-- Ash?"

Ash: "Hey Dawn, what's up?"

Dawn: *nervously stands there staring, but doesn't speak*

Ash: "Dawn, what is it?"

Dawn: "Ar-- A-- Are, umm... Are you okay? I-- I was so worried."

Ash: "Oh yes, I'm fine now, thanks to Zoey healing me!"

Dawn: "I... Is this really safe? M-- Maybe you don't really need to become a Manipulator."

Ash: "What? Yes, I do! Where is this coming from?"

Dawn: "I-- I just... I just... I can't lose you. And I'm scared."

Ash: ........... "Dawn, I'll be fine, I promise. I gotta do what I can to help the world. This is so much bigger than me. We'll all make it and find the light at the end of the tunnel, so smile!"

Dawn: *smiles slightly* "Okay, you're right, Satoshi!"

Everyone keeps searching.

Ursula: "Where the heck is this Plate? This will take forever."

Kenny: "Dawn, we can do this! Remember what you learned in our Plate-searching group!"

Pikachu: "Pika pika!"

Dawn: "Uhh thanks, I'll try!"

Barry: "Alain."

Alain: "What is it?"

Barry: "I've been having these thoughts lately... About becoming a Dark Manipulator."

Zoey: "Wait, what?! Barry, how could you even say that?"

Barry: "Sorry, it's just... I need to be powerful enough to bring Paul back."

Kenny: "I spoke to you about this earlier. I thought you were gonna stay good."

Alain: "Plus, you're already an Electric Manipulator. It's now impossible to be any other type."

Barry: "I know, but... this voice inside says there's still a way."

Alain: "Oh, I know what this is. I've seen it before. That voice is your conscience."

Zoey: "Wait, I thought your conscience was supposed to guide you to do good."

Alain: "Somehow, Barry's has become corrupt. Barry, your corrupted conscience is wrong. Once you're a Manipulator, you can't become a different one."

Barry: "Well let me try after we get the Plate!"

Alain: "I thought I was clear that if you tried to become a Dark Manipulator, you would die!"

Dawn: *walks up* *smiling* "Barry, this isn't the way. I know you'll bring Paul back on your own."

Barry: "O... On my own?"

Dawn: "Of course! If you became evil, you'd be the same as Paul. You would be the very thing you're trying to erase."
