Still Sunday, August 5th. Jubilife City, Sinnoh. 10:02am.

Zoey: "Guys, I got an e-mail from Alain."

Barry: "Finally! What did it say?"

Zoey: "First, he, Ash, and Dawn have the Grass Plate now. They're coming here to the Sinnoh region today."

Kenny: "Cool! That's 3 Plates for the good guys and 2 for the bad ones."

Barry: "Yep! So I guess we'll be traveling with them next. Awesome!"

Zoey: "Yes, but... there's more... Uhh, I don't know how to say it..."

Kenny: "What is it?"

Zoey: "... He wants to make me a Grass Manipulator right away."

Barry: "Whoa... Will you be ready for that?"

Zoey: "Yeah, Sanpei's training helped you and me be able to fight pretty well... It's just a shock. I'll be the first new Manipulator of the group. Oh yeah, one more thing... It won't happen right away, but... Barry, he wants to make you an Electric Manipulator along with Ash."

Barry: "Really?! All right! I can't wait! YEAH!"

Zoey: "Kenny, you obviously won't become a Manipulator since you leave next month to go back to Kalos Academy."

Kenny: "Yep. That's fine, I'll do what I can to help locate the Plates, then."

Barry: "Well let's get back to training, Zoey, or we're all paying fines!"

12:05pm. Ash, Alain, and Dawn have arrived in Jubilife City, Sinnoh, and make their way to PokéLife Apartments.

Ash: "Well, we're here! Back to where it all started!"

Pikachu: "Pika!"

Alain: "It must feel good to be back home. Right, Girl?"

Dawn: *quickly looks at Alain with a look of shock and grief*

Ash: "Dude!"

Alain: "Oh yeah, Girl. Bad things happened to you here. Whatever, you're lucky Ash brought you with us or else you'd be out on the streets. Let's just hurry and meet up with your friends, Ash."

Ash: "Alain, when we started this, you said you didn't want anyone else traveling with us. Now you're okay with it?"

Alain: "My original plan was to meet people to recruit with us AFTER all the Plates were found. The only people I wanted to travel with us before then were people you already knew. It's risky to travel with strangers. I'm fine with us traveling with Barry and Zoey since you already know them. Kenny's with them, so he joins, too. But so far, you've shown to be a good analyzer of who is good and isn't, so I guess it's good to meet friends along the way to make into Manipulators later. Just don't screw it up!"

Ash: "Gotcha!"

Dawn: *stares at Ash* ...... *thinking* (Ash... You have such a kind heart... I really hope I get to spend more time with you, but... I still get so nervous... I don't know...)

They get to PokéLife Apartments and knock at Room 2011.

Barry: "THE DOOR IS KNOCKING! I'll get it!"

All 6 of them gather in the living room.

Kenny: "I'm excited that it's finally our time to travel with you guys!"

Zoey: "It's nice to finally meet you in person, Dawn! Well, I saw you at Sinnoh Academy, but we never spoke. We're really sorry about what happened the night before you all left Sinnoh. We had no idea."
