After Rose's little encounter with Lonokai, she goes out to find her sister. Not too long after, she meets up with Zoya and heads to Madrid's place. On the way there, they have a heartfelt conversation.
"I have something to tell you." Zoya quietly whispers.
"I do too." Rose raises her head.
"You first."
Rose inhales and exhales, "So, I saw Lonokai today.."
Zoya turns her head quickly. "You too?!"
"What? You saw Zach today?"
"Yeah."
"So... what happened to Zach?"
Zoya looks back down. "Not much.. I just met him, that's it." She sheds a tear.
"I'm so sorry Zoya. You shouldn't have to be away from him because of what happened with me and Lonokai."
"It's not just that. For me, it was our safety."
"Yeah."
"So, you and Lonokai?"
"Umm." Rose lets out a small smile.
"Whaaaaat?" Zoya nudges Rose.
"Okay fine. He said... I love you." Rose blushes, but tries to hide it.
"WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?!" Zoya yells.
"Woah hey! I think you should scream that louder, I don't think the whole neighborhood heard you." Rose says with an annoyed face.
"Haha, continue, continue."
"Anyway, it made me so happy to hear that. But I need to wait to say it back," she sighs, "I need our trust to build up." Rose gets serious again.
Once they reach the front door, they give each other a big hug before going inside of the house. They walk into the living room, they see Madrid sitting with a smile plastered on his face.
"Did... something happen?" Rose chuckles. Zoya looks at him from behind Rose and starts whispering in her ear. "Something definitely happened."
"Nothing. I just had a fairly good day."
Zoya ~ A fairly good day...?
The next moment, the three of them go off with their nightly routines and go to bed.

Lonokai and Zach have been in deep thought since they met the girls again.
Lonokai notices Zach's down. "Hey bro, everything okay?"
"I didn't expect her to react like that." Zach states.
"How did she react?"
"She acted like I was her enemy or nothing at all. Gotta admit, it was like a jab to my heart."
"I'm sorry man. You know, uh," he rubbed the back of his neck, "I told Rose that I love her.."
Zach's face lights up and he turns to Lonokai. "What did she say?"
"That's the thing. She didn't say anything."
Zach smiles, "Hey, she'll come around. I know she will." He pats Lonokai's back.
The next week ...
"It's been a week and still no response." Lonokai's face saddens.
"Hm, I have an idea.." Zach responds with a smirk.
