A year later
Everyone's recovered from Zane's chaos; though the girls still have the scars from that incident. After everything went down, the girls recovered and everyone started to move on with their lives. Zach and Madrid continued to stay in the Mafia. After Zane died, Zach was next in line to take over. Lonokai decided to take over Zane's companies, becoming the CEO. As for Zoya and Rose, they continued to grow their boutique.
Madrid & Elise
Not too long after Zane died, Elise moved in with Madrid.
Friday, 6 PM
"Are you ready?" Madrid asks Elise.
"Just 5 more minutes!" She shouts at her phone, while Madrid is waiting in the car outside.
15 minutes passes by and he still doesn't see her. What is this woman doing?
Shortly after, he sees Elise walk outside in a beautiful dark blue maxi dress. It hugs her in all the right places and Madrid is left staring at her. Elise walks up to the car as Madrid gets out and opens the door for her.
"You look so pretty." Madrid blushes and rubs the back of his neck.
"Thank you." She smiles back.
They arrive to a beautiful waterfall, it has a tree and a park around it. The two of them walk sometime talking about the future and what would happen between them. Then they stop in front of a small garden. Madrid gets down on one knee.
"Will you marry me?" He asks.
Elise looks as if she's going to cry. "Yes!"
He puts the ring on her finger, then proceeds to pick her up and swing her once. They look into each others eyes madly in love.
Lonokai & Rose
After a long day at the boutique, Rose goes home with Zoya.
"Today was so busy!" Zoya sighs.
"I know. And on top of that Lonokai asked to see me today..."
Zoya smirks, "I wonder why he wanted to see you privately today."
"I bet you he's just putting me on edge. It's been almost two whole years that we've been together and he still hasn't asked me anything." Rose looks down.
"I bet you he will." Zoya assures.
Saturday, 6 PM
Rose freshens up and gets ready to go on a date with Lonokai. She wears a red flared dress with long sleeves starting just below her shoulders. Everything up is bare. Along with that she wears her favorite pair of sandals. She finishes her ensemble with some gold earrings and a rose-gold rose necklace, her favorite.
Rose gets into Lonokai's car and immediately sees a picnic basket in the back, "Are we going on a picnic?" She questions.
"Yes, we're eating dinner at a nice area." Lonokai shyly responds.
They arrive to a grassy hilltop with a nice garden full of roses. Lonokai lays down the picnic mat. They both sit down admiring the view in front of them.
"I never knew a place like this existed before." Rose breaks the silence.
"If I'm being honest, I didn't know this was a place until just a week ago." He fidgets with his hands.
Rose smiles at Lonokai as they eat sandwiches from the picnic basket.
"Are they good? I made them myself." Lonokai explains.
"It's delicious." She chuckles. "My handsome chef."
He clears his throat, "I also got some cake." He looks into her eyes.
Rose and Lonokai have an intense stare for a second. Whilst maintaining eye contact he slowly puts his finger towards the whipped cream on the cake. He reaches up to Rose's nose and 'boops' it on her.
"Lonokai Madden!!" Rose playfully shouts.
He then stands Rose up and gets down on one knee. Rose's eyes widen and she gets butterflies.
"Rose Lewis, will you make me the happiest man alive... and marry me?" Lonokai asks with his eyes gleaming.
Rose, in shock, puts her hands over her mouth, "Yes!" She yelps. "I thought you'd never ask."
He chuckles, "I love you." Lonokai plants a kiss on Rose's forehead.
Zach & Zoya
That same day when Rose leaves on a date with Lonokai, Zoya sits down to watch tv alone in the house. After putting on a movie, she texts Zach.
Zoya ~ How long will you be working today?
Five minutes later, he responds.
Zach ~ It's going to be awhile, I have a lot of stuff to do today. Don't wait up for me tonight.
Zoya reads his message and feels a bit lonely in the moment. I miss him so much already. 15 minutes go by in the movie and suddenly the lights turn off.
"Who's there?" Zoya gasps. Am I going to die today? She doesn't move an inch. She feels someone's cold hands slightly graze her back.
"AH!" Zoya jumps. She looks back surprised to see Zach with a candle in his hand. "Zach you got to stop doing that to me!" He turns on the lights and blows the candle out.
"I just had to recreate that moment since today's a special day." Zach laughs.
"Special day?"
Zach raises his eyebrows. "You'll see."
He hands her a black dress. "I bought this for today." He smiles.
Zoya goes into the bathroom and changes into the dress. The dress is short and has puffy short sleeves, it ties at the back as a bow. She adds some simple black heels and finishes her hair. Good taste, Zach. She smiles.
Zach takes Zoya to a nice beach where the sun is just about to set. He sits Zoya down on a rock and starts a bonfire.
"Wait here, I'll be back." Zach leers.
"Huh? Where are you going-" Before Zoya can finish her sentence Zach disappears.
Zoya waits for him and stares at the beautiful sunset. Not long after, he appears on a camel.
"ZACH WHERE DID YOU GET A CAMEL FROM?" Zoya shouts.
"I know how much you love Egypt so I brought one for you!" Zach excitedly says and has a goofy smile plastered on his face.
"How did you even manage to get one?!" Zoya inquires.
Zach looks in all different directions but Zoya's. "Don't worry about it." He replies.
Zach gets on one knee. "Zoya, will you make me the happiest man alive with a stolen camel and marry me?"
"YOU STOLE THE CAMEL?" Zoya screams.
"How else would I get one?"
Zoya starts to tear up as she jumps into Zach's arms. "I love you so much."
"So I'm assuming you will marry me?"
Zoya nods, they kiss as the sun sets.
