Stand tall and send to the earth your roots
A tree firm and strong, embraced by her
Soak her in and take of her strength
For she gives freely, this mother,
And will transmute what you must release
Become one with her and know her
For she knows you well
And holds you within
The incarnations of your experience
And when you have reached your height,
Stretch your arms to the moon to hold her luminescence,
Her energy sifting you through shadow in the soft of her light
This sister, whose light hides your secrets,
And illuminates shadow,
Will play with the dark
To hide what you will not see
But show what has healed.
