It's been eight years since Sun Wukong, my first disciple has disappeared. I haven't stopped searching for him. Where did he go? Why would he just disappear? He's not dead. I know he's not dead. Is he injured? I'm fairly sure he is.
When I first arrived at the scene, there was claw marks and blood. The forest was destroyed. The forest was turned to ash. I couldn't find him. I hold up his crown. The only thing we managed to find of him. I run my fingers over it. It's still warm. He fought the dark bird without his brothers. I don't understand that.
"Monk, we're going to find him." Fruitie sits on my shoulder.
He looks at me. I turn.
"Of course, we will." I say.
"Are we even sure he's still alive?" Pigsie asks.
"Brother Pig of course he is." Wujing says.
"Pigsie. He's more capable than you know." I say.
"Master. We've been looking for eight years!" Pigsie says.
"And we'll keep looking until we find him." I say.
Oh Wukong, where are you?
