All my hard work is gone. The phoenix is free. Though I guess it wasn't really hard work. I'm still bleeding in so many places. The world is doomed again because of me. Seems like I can only screw up. Is that all I'm good for? Screwing things up? I cough up more blood. Sugar Sap grabs my other arm.
"Wukong." She looks at me.
"I'm...fine..." I hiss.
Yeah, I think she knows I'm lying. She kisses me abruptly. I look at her in surprise. Wujing blows another bubble out of his mouth.
"You saved my life." She smiles at me.
At least Riku is dead, the phoenix did that for me. Ash mummified their bodies. I tried to warn them that controlling the phoenix wasn't a good idea. I've been trying to say that the past three years.
"Wukong, you did well." Master says.
"I...almost...got...you...killed..." I mutter.
"No, you didn't." He puts his hand on my shoulder.
I look up at him. I can't force a smile yet.
"We need to get him treated." Wujing says.
"The...pheonix..." I start.
"We'll deal with it, but this time together." Pigsie looks at me.
I look up at him.
"You...die...because...of...me..." I hiss.
"Nah. It can try it's best. If anyone is going to kill me, it'd be starvation." Pigsie says.
"We're in this together, big brother." Wujing says.
I look at him.
"Together." He says.
"Together." Sugar Sap says.
"Together!" Fruity claps his hands.
"Together." Master says.
"Together." Pigsie says.
"...Together..." I breathe.
