I pull off my shirt. I walk into the lake. I wince as the water seeps into the bandages. Whatever, it'll heal. I pull my hair back. I move the water up my arm. So many scars. I have a lot of scars. That blasted bird gave me a run for my money. I splash my face with water.
I pull of the bandages now that they're soaked. I sink into the water. It's clear and soothing. I move the water up my arm. I dip my hair into the water just the back. I let out a breath. She's not going to stop. She's persistent and she's been hunting me for the past three years. What a bother. She's a real thorn in my side. I roll my eyes.
"What do you want?" I stand up.
Clear Breeze comes out of the shadows and the rocks. He kneels down.
"Thank you for saving my life." He says.
"Don't make me regret it." I say.
He looks at my back. I turn.
"Do they still hurt?" He asks.
"Eh." I shrug.
I look up at him.
"Why are you still here? You found me. So go and tell your master." I say.
"I think I owe you for saving my life." He says.
"Oh?" I raise an eyebrow.
"I won't tell him." He says.
"Thanks." I say.
He huffs off.
"Cannibal." I hear Pigsie yell.
He throws himself into the water.
"Big Brother." Wujing comes into the water.
Pigsie comes up and looks at me. My body is shown with the scars. I have so many.
"Whoa. What happened to you?" He looks at me.
