"The phoenix at last!" Riku laughs.
The bird lets out a screech. It glares at Riku and the others.
"Now!" She yells.
Harpoons shoot at it. The bird flaps its wings and the harpoons shatter. It opens its mouth and fire shoots out. They dodge. Wujing and Pigsie get free. I shakily look up at the phoenix.
"Sun Wukong, your banishment has failed." It screeched.
I just look at it. I can't really speak. I'm too exhausted for that. It flaps his mighty wings and almost blows the demons off the stairs. Riku falls back. She cannot control the power of the phoenix. No one can. I barely could.
Wujing and Pigsie runs forward.
"Big Brother." Wujing breaks me free.
I almost fall to the ground if he didn't grab me. There's a lot of blood loss. Everything hurts. My arms feel like they're broken, and my legs feel as crumbly as sand. Pigsie breaks Fruity out of his cage. He shoots over to me.
"Monkey!" He grabs my shoulder.
"Ughh...." I mutter.
Translation, I'm not doing so well. The Pheonix looks at me. He shoots up into the sky. The force knocks us all into the ground.
