"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! You bought those chains to seal the dark phoenix? The Dark Pheonix?? The one we've been assigned to kill together?!" Pigsie yells.

"Yeah." I nod.

I stuff my hands into my pockets.  

"Big Brother, why did you do it?" Wujing asks. 

I grip the chain around my neck. I turn.

"Only thing that could be done." I shrug.

"Monkey, you're so brave." Fruitie hugs my shoulder. 

"I wouldn't call it bravery." I look at him.

I look back at them. Their eyes were wide and Pigsie and Wujing's mouth were equally wide.

"I wish I could say the bird didn't go down without a fight, but that wasn't exactly the case." I say.

"Big Brother, the Dark Pheonix has powers beyond our control. It is dangerous to seal it into yourself." Wujing puts his hand on my shoulder.

I push him off of me.

"May I remind you that I defeated Yuandi." I say to him.

I have fought the greatest evils. I killed Yuandi after admitting I was the most powerful demon. I destroyed him and saved their lives, though I suppose I also caused their demise. I can handle the power of the phoenix. I glare at Wujing and he backs off. 

"Enough arguing. It's late we should all get some rest." Master says.

I nod.
