I sit on a ledge near the village playing my flute. I've gotten pretty good since I've had eight years to practice. I play a soft melody. I'm calling it regret. I've been working on it for the last eight years, to keep my mind off of well... all the crazy stuff I've done.
I accidently play a note too high, and I wince. No, no, no, not that. I take a breath and play again. I move my fingers up and down the holes. It comes out quite nicely. Consider this melody my apology.

That music. I've heard it before. I know who it belongs to. Sun Wukong, the Demon King. I push my black hair back. I walk through my palace of stones and red drapes. I know he's still alive. I know he's human now. He tried to be so noble. It's adorable.
He's a demon as am I. We are no heroes. He released Yunadi, he defeated him. Thankfully I don't have to worry about a greater power now. He has already eliminated three of them for me. One Yunadi, second the dark bird, third himself. Lucky me.
I bend down on my knees. I transform into my other form. A form powerful yet repulsive to look at. It suites me well. It is both colorful and venomous. I lick my lips. Soon Sun Wukong you will play a key part in my plan. Just you wait.
