(2138 words long chapter, yeah a bit update and not only that something interesting is going to happen in this chapter in Trishul and Mohini's part)
Mohini
My whole afternoon went by talking with the girls of the family, we all eat mishti Doi, then Grandmother gave all of us Paan.
"Let's play Antakshari!" Ambika yelled.
"No."
"Yes"
"Noooo"
"Yes."
"If you all are playing Antakshari then I am leaving, you all know very well how much of a bad singer I am." Katyayani maa said.
Everybody laughed at that,"Oh my God, I remember During your wedding we asked you to sing and you sung so badly that everybody stayed silent and only your husband complimented you." Amba aunty said
"Oh my Goddess, yes... He was literally a love sick puppy for you." Padmini aunty added.
"He still is now." Grandmother added.
"Okay you guys stop now."
I was literally having so much fun in this house, everyone is so talkative and lovely, I am in love with their way of living. Well the newly wed wife, Minakshi is very silent, maybe that's in her nature. She is sitting silently and smiling at our conversation. She is really kind and nice.
Later we excused ourself to change up in our room, I wore a beautiful luxurious white sequin saree with pink border, as always I kept my makeup minimal and called Shreedhar.
"Hi."
"Hello, what are you doing?" I asked.
"Nothing just listening to an audio book. What about you? What are you doing?"
"I was getting ready for a party Trishul hosted."
"Oh nice! What kind of party?"
"Just with some locals."
"Okay nice, take care of yourself, don't overwork and please please eat your food at that time and go to sleep at time." He said.
"Will you stop acting like my mother?" I asked.
And obviously he ignored,"How many times did you drink water? Obviously zero! Go and drink. Don't cut the call I want to hear that you are drinking."
"And how will you understand that?!" I asked.
"Sound of you gulping." He responded.
"Oh my God! You are so freaking weird!"
"Shut up and do as I said."
"No."
"Mohini!" He threatend.
"How dare you raise your voice at me?" I yelled back.
"Don't forget that you are talking with your mother, is this how you raise your voice?" He responded, and I literally imagined him wearing a saree and looking like a typical Bharatiya (Indian)mom. I laughed at that thought and my stomach ache, "Hahaha... Oh my God!"
"Oof! Silly girl! Will you stop laughing?"
"Okay okay Baba... I am just..." I continued to laugh and looked for a water bottle.
"Don't laugh while drinking, Dumbo." He said.
"I am not a Dumbo, You are."
"Okay. I don't care."
