Towards the end of my last period I got a text message from Zach.

(Zach- bold Dillon- italic)

Hey, you still down to work on the project after school at my place?

Yup, I don't have anything better to do.

Cool, what class do you have rn (right now) so I can met you there.

I have music.

I didn't know you played music.

There's alot you don't know about me.

Well hopefully you'll give me a chance to get to know you.

I'll think about it.

I'll convince you. I'm very persuasive.

(end of conversation)

I smiled at the last message he sent, then the bell rang.

Me and Katie started putting our instruments away along with our music sheets and stands. Once I was finished doing that, I walked out of the bass room with Katie. Walking down the steps that has rows of chairs, I looked to the door to see Alex and Zach talking.

Hmm... I didn't know the knew each other.

"Hey guys" I say as me and Katie approach them.

"Hey," the both reply at the same time.

"You ready to go Dillon?" Zach asked.

"Yeah-" I barely got out before Alex cut me off.

"Ready to go where?" Alex asked confused.

"Oh, me and Dillon got partnered up for a Science project and we're gonna go work on it at my house." Zach replied pointing between the two of us.

"That's cool." Alex forced a smiled and scratched the back of his head awkwardly. There was a few minutes where we just stood there, staring at each other.

"Hey guys, let's walk to the front. I bet everyone is wondering where we are." Katie said with at slight laugh at the end, trying to make things less awkward.

"Yeah Leggo" Alex said which caused me to giggle.

As we were walking to the front of the school Zach and Alex were standing on either side of me and Katie was walking closely behind us trying to keep up with our pace while texting. That girl is always on her phone.

Once we made it to the front of the school I see Gage, Alyssa, Kaleb, and Noah standing in a small circle looking around, most likely looking for us. We walked down the steps towards them.

"Hey babe," Katie says walking up to Gage with her lips slightly puckered wanting a kiss from her boyfriend, which he happily granted.

Me and Alyssa turned to the adorable couple in awe, while the guys either whistled or told them to get a room.

"We'll see you guys later." Katie said after she hugged everyone, Gage hugged me and did that weird guy hug with the guys, and Alyssa hugging everyone and giving Kaleb the longest hug like she wasn't going to see him again.

"Bye" we all say in unison waving them off.

"You ready to leave now Dillon?" Zach questioned.

"Yeah I'll see you guys later." I say walking away with Zach waving bye to the guys. They waved back and I turned to face the direction of where we were walking. Once we got to Zach's car he opened the door for me, and I got in. Once I was fulling in the car he closed the door, jogged to the driver's side, climbed in, and started the car.
