Ian's pov

I stand in the middle of the aisle midway to the altar waiting for my Gino. He wanted that kind of set up. Ayaw nya yung nasa altar na agad ako. But since I wanted it, we agreed to meet halfway.

I felt like floating the whole time. I was waiting for this moment all my life, and now I'm getting married to my bestfriend.

As the door of the church opens, I saw the most beautiful man I have laid my eyes on. Gino, my bestfriend, my soulmate, and in a matter of minutes, my husband. He smiles at me.

When we were kids, the first thing I noticed about Gino was his smile, and how it reflected all the way through his eyes. That genuine, pure, boxy yet so pretty smile only Gino has. And I'm one big idiot for leaving him and took that smile away from him.

He arrived looking like a real prince riding a bike on that white suit holding a flower I personally picked for him. My perfect man with the kindest heart. How can I be so lucky.

I lock eyes with him as he approaches me slowly

I lock eyes with him as he approaches me slowly. He looked at me like he was so sure of me. That look that could heal all the pain we felt during those times we were apart from each other. The one that could make you forget all your shortcomings, your insecurities, your regrets. He looks at me like I never hurt him. He looks at me with forgiveness and love.

I kissed his cheek before holding out my hand for him. Together, we walked down the aisle. Two souls, now becoming one.

"I love you." I said as I made a quick glance at him again.

"Gino Tyler, I take you to be my bestfriend forever

"Gino Tyler, I take you to be my bestfriend forever. My person. My love. My husband. I promise to walk this life beside you. I promise to never stop trying. I promise to snuggle, smile, speak the truth and always forgive. I promise to laugh with you, cry with you and build you up. I promise to choose you today and all of my tomorrows. I promise you all of me and all of my love always."

"Ian Lorenzo, I promise to be your bestfriend and husband forever. To have your back no matter what. To let you fight your own battles, but will tap in when you need help. I promise to share the covers and remote to you but only if we watch Love Rosie. To love your family as if they were my own. I promise to make sure I'm not just hungry before I yell. To not make you go to 711 everytime I crave for hotdog sandwich. I promise to try new experiences as long it doesn't involve crossing the street. To hold your hand and kiss you every chance I get. I promise to defend you to others. And I promise to put your happiness before mine. I love you, my bestfriend."

I never thought I was still capable of crying even more than the tears I cried I have to leave Gino. The tears cascade down my face and he wipes them away. But I don't care if I'm crying. Because these aren't sad tears anymore.

We kiss for so long. So long that my lips hurt as much as my heart. But it doesn't hurt from the pain or sadness. It hurts because it's never been this full. Gino filled my heart with so much love and I'm here to give it back to him. A thousand times more.
