Delilah pov
The girls and I made our way into the crowd where Gray and Blake were standing. I don't know where Logan is; luckily, he's not here. I don't think I'll ever stop looking for him in a room full of people, but at least I got to try. I need to.
"Even though I know shit about american football I'm having a great time," I whisper into Cleo's ear and she laughs
"Ok we're winning so don't worry just celebrate when we are," she says and I laugh with her as our team annotates another touchdown
"Wooh," we celebrate as I take my camera and take a picture of all of us and smile at the result but something is off, someone is missing.
I wipe the almost tear rolling down my cheek and continue celebrating.
The game quickly came to an end, not really but considering we went late it did, and we each made our way to the exit where I would meet with Silas.
"Hello Delilah," he says kissing my cheek
"Hi Silas," I say back as he takes his hand into mine and we walk out of the stadium and into his car
We drove and I tried to roll down the window but he said something about how it may fuck up his car so I decided to leave it alone, and until we reached the restaurant we made small talk about school mainly and skating.
"This town is beautiful in the fall," I tell him mesmerized by the falling leaves so beautiful yet so simple I loved that about nature because it is its way of maturing. That's what I remember Chiara always telling me.
"Yes it is," he says looking at the road not daring to move his eyes
"I love it here," I whisper as we pull into the parking of the establishment
"I'm glad," he responds and I smile
He takes my hands into his and we walk into this beautiful Italian restaurant. Booths, romantic lighting and just amazing.
"How can I help you," the hostess asks
"Reservation under Hendrix," he says and she nods, walking us to our designated table.
Walking there I saw something well, someone who made me weak to walk... I would recognize those caramel brown eyes anywhere on anyone. I saw her silky long hair and how her smile was just like Chiara's. Blair was seated just at our right and I couldn't stop looking at her. She was with Nana her hair was gray and her skin looks wrinkly. She looked like she has lived a plentiful life and all I wanted to do was run and hug both of them not knowing if they would recognize me.
"You okay," he asks and I nod as I sit down
"Yeah, thought I saw someone from my past but turns out it wasn't," I lie to him opening the menu
"What're you planning on getting," I ask him still eyeing the menu
"The lasagna or the bolognese," he says as the waiter brings us our bread "what about you," he asks
"They have carbonara here," I say excited looking at it in the menu
"It's really good," he says looking at the menu
"I used to love it as a child, my mom would make it for me and my dad all the time," I say smiling at the memories when wd were a happy family
"What happened then," he asks with a frown on his forehead
"My mom died," I say looking over at Blair's table and saw how unfair I'm sounding when my mom could be out there and I may see her again and they would never "Well not really she just left when I was thirteen and I haven't seen her since," I say thinking on her laugh
