Jake and Sean were sitting together, laughing until they couldn't breathe. The things they said weren't even funny but for some reason they laughed at it.

"Sean."

They look up to see Hailey standing in front of our table with the rest of the music club.

"Oh, hey guys. What's up?"

"Why are you sitting with him?" Jake looked down, knowing they still hated him.

"Because he's my friend?" God that word hurt more to Jake than anything. 'Friend.' I want to be more than friends but I guess I don't have a chance.

"Do you not remember what he said!?" Milly. He can still feel her slap across his cheek.

"He didn't mean any of it. If you would just-"

"That two-faced jerk doesn't do anything but lie, Sean!" Zander. He never liked Jake anyways.

"Sean...Jake can't be trusted after what we heard." Luke. At least he isn't as mean.

"If you would just listen than you would understand!" Was the last thing Jake heard before he started spacing out. Horrible thoughts began to flood his mind.

Jake opened his eyes to find himself in the bathroom, curled into a ball, and Sean in front of him. "Are you alright!?"

"W-what happened?" Sean looked at him and told him how he got up and ran away from the cafeteria, all the way here.

"That really happened?" Looking worried, Sean nodded his head. Jake slowly reached up to touch his face, just now realizing he had been crying.

"Are you sure you're alright?" Jake blushed at how concerned Sean was for him, thankfully his face was already red and puffy.

"Yeah, I am. Thank you for being here for me."

"You don't have to thank me. I'll always be here for you."

They said they would also stay with you, but look where you are now~

"Jake?"

He's gonna leave you, just like they did.
