The three teens sat there in silence, enjoying each other's company. Sean had texted his mom and told her that they were alright. He didn't want his parents to worry about them being dead. Sean went back to his News app on his phone, watching as their school filled his screen.

"Police officer, Randy Taylor, has been able to get into the building and catch the culprit. Doctors are now helping the survivors."

"They got 'em!" Willow exclaimed happily. She rushed to the hatch, flipped it open, and jumped down without warning.

"Willow!" Sean exclaimed, worried his friend had just injured themselves. Jake sighed and looked over the edge, staring down at the black haired girl.

"Why do you do this?" He sighed. Willow has always been like this. Ever since he met the shorter girl, she's been a risk taker.

Willow looked up and smiled at him. "Heh, sorry?" She replied, questioning if she truly was or not. Jake glared at the girl as she nervously laughed. She moved to the boxes and grabbed the ladder, moving it to lean against the wall. Jake shook his head as he began to climb down, Willow with her hands on his hips so he wouldn't fall. Just then they heard banging on the door. Fear coursing through their veins, they tried to get Jake back up but it was too late. The door flew open, hitting the wall, with one final bang. Jake, whose fear was making him shake like a head massager, lost his grip and fell. Willow did her best to stop his fall but his feet still collided with the floor harshly. Jake yelled as the pain coursed through his leg. Willow, who still hadn't turned to look at the door, pulled Jake closer to her and closed her eyes.

"Guys?" Sean called, trying to get their attention. The two looked up at him, confusion on their faces. Why weren't they dead yet?

"Are you three alright?" The siblings turned to look at the door, staring at the woman in front of them. "I'm officer Ashley Rossi, here with the Rosemeadow police department." Sean began to climb down as the other two continued to stare, tears welling up in their eyes. They were saved. They lived and got to see the ending to a nightmare that lasted over an hour.

The trio were led outside by Ashley, Willow carrying Jake in her arms. "I found three more!" Ashley shouted to a doctor. Willow put Jake into the back of the ambulance truck, standing in front of him with Sean. Just then, a familiar yellow eyed male came over.

"I'm so glad you guys are alright!" He said, joy evident in his eyes.

"We're glad you're alright as well." Willow replied, pulling Luke into a tight hug. Jake noticed something about Luke when Willow hugged him. Something that made him feel overjoyed.

Luke blushed! Willow has pulled Luke into a hug randomly before, him never blushing once but hugging back. He seemed more nervous in this hug, he reminded Jake of himself before he started to date Sean.

Jake smiled softly, glad that his sister may have a chance. It was a small chance, but a chance nonetheless. Luke was still dating Zander so it may take a while for them to get together. Jake looked away, deciding to let them have their moment, and saw something that shook him to the core.

"Hailey!?" The other three looked to see the aquamarine haired girl be dragged to a cop car. Hailey looked at the boy with hatred and anger.

"This is all your fault! Luke broke my brother's heart because of you!" Jake looked at Hailey in shock. Luke broke up with Zander because of him? Why would he do that?

"I broke up with Zander because of how mean he was! I don't want to date anyone who wants someone else to kill themselves!" Luke yelled back. Sean's eyes widened. Zander wanted Jake dead? How could he be so cruel?

"I'm not just doing this for myself." Hailey cackled.

"What do you mean!?" Willow demanded. Why was Hailey acting like a complete psycho?

"Someone I've never liked paid me to do this." She laughed. There was a bigger person behind this and they wanted Jake dead. Jake looked around at the other survivors. He saw Milly, Zander, Zoey, Lia, Henry, Liam, and Drew. Why did Hailey leave those five alive? He understood why she spared

Milly and Zander, but the other five? He looked closer and saw that the other five were badly injured, Drew injured the least and Zoey injured the most.

"The person who paid me is alive and here with us~"

Hey everyone, it's me again! I've been feeling a bit more motivated, despite the slight feeling of not wanting to do anything. I've cried three times this month over a girl who just kept playing with my feelings. I'm trying to let go but I've known her since around fourth grade and we're now high school freshmen. It hurts and I'm just done with everything. I hate how I now want to push the thought of love away but I understand that my mind is just trying to protect my heart. I love you all though no matter what and you guys still being with me helps a lot. I'm pretty sure I have attachment issues and the thought of people leaving scares me so y'all staying so far has done so much for me. Take care of yourself and keep reaching for the stars!
