Back To School

An alarm blared beside the bed, scaring the blond half to death. He turned it off while mumbling incoherent curses. He hated that he had to go back to school.

While he got out of bed, Sean tiredly chuckled at his lovers annoyance. Jake gave his boyfriend a glare before walking into the bathroom.

After they got ready, they made their way to the dining room. They walked inside to see Willow laying her head on the table and Luke rubbing her shoulder. Jake went and sat next to her, laying his head on the table as well.

Sean shook his head, chuckling at his lover. He thought that the way Jake was acting right now, was the cutest thing in the world. Going around the table, he sat down next to his lover. "Let's just get the day over with, alright you two?"

A groan was what he received making the other two males laugh.

They walked into the classroom, watching as the officer, Ashley Rossi, looked at them and smiled brightly.

"Good morning you four!" she greeted, sounding cheerful.

"Good morning."

They sat down, the siblings wanting to get the day over with already. Jake was sitting with his head on Sean's shoulder, Willow laying her head on his shoulder.

"I hate this." Willow said, Jake humming in response.

The class started with simple math problems. "What is C(7,3)?"

Zoey raised her hand, rolling her eyes as she said, "It's 27, duh."

Ashley simply shook her head. "No, that's not quite right."

Zoey's face flushed red, embarrassed that she got it wrong.

Willow looked at Ashley with tired eyes, raising her hand. "It's 35."

Ashley smiled. "Correct Miss Rose. Now what is 1 - 1/1+√3 + 1/1-√3?"

This time Lia raised her hand, hesitant in her answer. "Is it 2-√3?"

Ashley shook her hand. "No, but almost."

Jake raised his head, the same tiredness in his eyes that was in his sister's. "It's 1-√3"

Ashley smiled. "Correct."

Henry raised his hand. "Can you explain how?"

Before Ashley could say anything, Jake began to explain step-by-step in clear details. He even got up and wrote it on the board when Henry still didn't understand.
