Jake was let out of the hospital two days later with Willow. When they got home, there was a surprise welcome home party. Jake's father was able to take time off from the military to be there for them and Sean was there with his parents. 
Willow and Jake got out of their Mom's car and walked up to the door. Mrs. Sterling walked up and unlocked it then opened it. The house was pitch black and they couldn't see anything. Willow began to feel the wall for the light switch and when she turned it on, she nearly had a heart attack. 
"SURPRISE!" The girl screamed and fell back onto Jake, causing both of them to fall on the ground. "Can you get off of me?" Willow looked down to see that she was sitting on top of Jake. 
"Oh sorry," Willow said as she stood up, helping him up afterwards. She felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist and looked down to see Milo. "Hey little man." 
"I'm glad you guys are home," the thirteen year old said with a smile, making her smile as well. Sean came and hugged Jake and Willow smirked. 'When are they going to start dating?' she chuckled at her thoughts.
"C'mon, we're gonna celebrate your return," Sean said and let them inside. 'Today is the best day ever.'

They all were relaxing when there was a knock at the door. Mrs. Sterling went to open it and came back with a man in a military suit, that the siblings remembered automatically. 
"DAD," Willow and Jake shouted as they got up and hugged him. They may or may not have used too much force because when they ran to him, he ended up falling. 
He chuckled and hugged them back. "I'm glad I was missed," he said with a smile. 'Today was now, officially, the best day ever.'
