Some Convincing

Starting chaos had not been on Ann's agenda today but alas, they had done something, to say the least. It had already been a surprise for the group when Ann had just entered and approached Ritsu without a second thought, him holding Nyeli by sheer coincidence. Izumi? He couldn't join, having some job around this time so they were extremely lucky. And more confusion had arisen at the time when the brunette opened up with: "Ritsu–San, you were right!"

"Huh? What do you—"

"Correct!"

"About what?"

Needless to say, it was a back and forth for a little while, Ann being very unclear without knowing for a good few minutes. It even had Nyeli confused, looking at his sister with a head tilt and wagging ears. Only when being pawed as Ritsu held Nyeli up to Ann's head could they calm themselves, shutting up finally. They had gotten ahead of themselves and only just now they had known. So they were forced to take a deep breath and state what they were even heading at. Because what they had to tell him was more than a mouthful. It was a story they just couldn't keep short nor to themselves. What drove them to this? The usual stubbornness. They really wanted to help but maybe would need some other influences, let alone Nyeli's approval.

And so they did explain as much as they could, their mouth almost running dry at the point they had finished. And even then they were jumping from one moment to the next, sometimes getting distracted. First it was Izumi and they nearly went on their ranting tangent about him again, before suddenly bringing Nyeli into the mix. It switched back and forth between them as a topic, as if Ann couldn't decide what to talk about. In truth they just didn't have notes keeping them in check. It was rare but they could talk if they really wanted to.

However, the constant jumping back and forth between topics only confused Ritsu if anything. He couldn't keep up and it showed. As for Nyeli, it had confused him so much that he jumped off his Papa's arms and ran over to the bag to pull something out, most likely paper to scribble something on. And maybe that was for the better.

As for Ann's next words... Well...

"The one... Uhm... Who left Nyeli alone..." They first stuttered, not sure how to phrase it, awfully careful in fact. Though they got it together. "Izumi... The previous owner."

"Huh? Secchan?" Ritsu repeated, a bit in disbelief when hearing it. And the other members around at the time with Knights had gotten awfully close as well, their eyes widening from one moment to the next. It was a revelation to them and shows that not even Izumi had told them. Then again, Ann was not really surprised about that part. He most likely told no one, not really at least.

"Yeah. He." They nodded, confirming it once more. "It was him."

"So you are telling me... Secchan..." A sudden pause however, a long moment of silence had kicked in from one moment to the next, leaving everyone somewhat speechless for a very short moment. Though it felt like some weird eternity they could swear. It wasn't but it was just so awkward. Should they have opened up about this? They were tending to no but—

"I guessed something was up with Sena but this..." The one who would decide to break the neverending silence is Leo. "This is a bit much, even for him."

"Sena–Senpai is capable of something like this..." Tsukasa mumbled, somewhat, under his very own breath.

"It isn't that surprising of Izumi–Chan." Arashi added, sounding the least surprised. It didn't mean however that it sat right with her, far from it. She looked anything but amused. "He's still being unnecessarily cruel! This has to be one of the worst things he's ever done!"

It was surprising though. The group kept up with his guts, and apparently hearing this was the breaking point. Ann never thought they would see the day. The attitude had changed, as if what they had talked about hit very close to home. Or maybe it was the final straw? Honestly, they didn't know. It had only been a few months, they knew Izumi for a longer time. Maybe a lot built up... Or something.
