Not even convincing could get Nyeli here. Ann had tried yet it seemed that he had some type of second sense here, as if he knew what was going to happen at this very moment. Or at the very least he knew that he wouldn't have liked it. If Ann had to force him to come out, then it was already a bad sign. Yet they were stubborn enough to get Nyeli there no matter what. They agreed to it, and said they would help no matter what. Now they had to keep true their word and that was their intention in all honesty. No backing out, not at all. And if it meant dragging Nyeli there... Then so be it!
Though it was a battle, one of the most fierce they had to endure. They had a tight grip on the small kitty who was clinging onto the shirt of his Papa, as if having his claws on it. He had nearly torn a few holes in it even. The constant nyes were a plea to let go yet in this case Ann had refused to give in. They told him to just go and that they would be there yet that had not been enough to convince Nyeli in the long run. And even with all of this noise, it was a surprise that Ritsu was able to snore right into the duo's ears. So he was of no help whatsoever of course. It was between the two siblings at that point, none of them wanting to give in.
However, it had only been a matter of time until Ann had gotten Nyeli off Ritsu, though they were being thrown to the back automatically it seemed, all while holding Nyeli. Luckily they were holding onto him tight enough so despite the struggling he couldn't escape. They had apologized of course but promised that it would not be so bad. It won't be so bad, right? They could only hope if they were honest yet weren't going to take any chances either. It would be worth a shot at the very least.Cutting a bit ahead and now a trio of people were sitting inside Ann's office, the two full grown humans right next to another while Nyeli was seated on his Sisnya's lap, them keeping him in place so he would not run off all of a sudden. The guy right next to them was Izumi of course, sitting there with crossed arms and only sometimes glancing at Nyeli. Though he wasn't saying a word, at all. But hey, at least he isn't calling the kitty names! It's... Progress? Somewhat... Though not by much of course, even Ann had to admit that much.
Honestly, this all was just awkward in its own right. None of the two talked to one another, nor did they dare to. Instead they were just sitting here in silence, not even facing another. It was as if they had nothing to say to one another. Now, they didn't expect this to go smoothly right away. That would be too much to ask for... But an attempt? In some weird way maybe? One of them at least saying something, even if it would break out in some fight? Literally anything!?
Ann looked between the two yet no word had been exchanged whatsoever. Not even a 'nye'. It was just... Silence. Awkward silence. No use then, they had to start somewhere, maybe give them a hint or something.
"Uhm... Catching up?" They asked though sounding a little nervous, they had to admit. They were really trying here, wanting to give the two some ideas at the very least. For a moment this was met with another wall of silence, no word exchanged whatsoever. It was a big load of nothing. Literally, nothing!
"Come on. Stuff... Happened, right?" They were trying after some time, trying to encourage them to talk. Something, anything. If the two were silent they couldn't get used to each other's presence.
"Yes, a lot of stuff happened." Finally, one of the two spoke up. And it was Izumi though... That was not even a conversation starter! What is he doing!?
"L... Like?" Ann stuttered, desperate at this point while holding Nyeli in place who was vibrating like crazy on their lap. He just wanted to break free yet probably hated the fact that Sisnya was going to 'put him through hell'. And Ann was aware that this had to be difficult on him, both of the guys even, yet they had no intention of letting this slip now.
"Stuff. Just stuff." Izumi responded, though not facing any of the other two. And they thought they were not actively talking... Right now, Izumi is worse than them. And that's saying something. And to top it all off, it didn't make the situation any better. Oh no, the tension only rose as a result, higher than before. Nyeli was shaking over and over, unable to restrain himself if he had to. As for Izumi, he was just... Well, silent. Again. He didn't get a word out.
Did they jump the shark with this suggestion? Should they have started differently? But how would that be possible? No, there was no other way. Not that they knew of. Letters? Hah, the risk was high that they didn't read them, both of them. Or 'see' in Nyeli's case as he usually drew to explain stuff. Though right now he was not really in the mood to do that, even though they knew.
So more silence, Ann trying to find a way to get them to talk, even if they had to deliver the messages each time for a while. Just get them to communicate somehow, was that so difficult!? Well, ok, yes. But silence isn't going to get the two anywhere honestly! Someone had to start here! Any of the—
"So... I see you've gotten cozy with Kuma–Kun." Izumi would say. Finally, one of them spoke up on their own. Although, it seemed that he held back his spite. He didn't want to say it yet he forced himself to for one reason or another It was a start, yeah. A start. Though he was not facing Nyeli. And Nyeli refused to face Izumi.
"Nye.." Was all the cat let out weakly, as if confirming it. Though he also forced himself to open his own mouth. This wasn't getting any better, was it?
"He's been taking... Good care of you huh?"
"Ny... Nye..."
"Aha..."
And then once more silence. Ann stuck in between them. They were only sighing, wondering what they were even doing. They exchanged words though! Progress, right? Right!?
Wrong, so wrong. No progress, things were even more tense after this... 'exchange' of words. And even then, calling this an exchange was being generous. They were just looking in opposite directions, not even facing one another as they were seated. They just couldn't meet eye to eye, at all. And that was a problem. They couldn't hold a conversation, to say the least.
They knew that this... This would take a while... Maybe a little longer than expected. Oh god, this better pay off in the end...
