Izzie and the other girls were talking about Moulin, the guest teacher. She had no idea how she got into the group but maybe the drinks she already has is how they lured her into their giggling group. They all looked up when they heard a loud booming laughter. James was doubled over laughing while Sirius was standing next to him, looking slightly bored. She shot them a smile before one of the girls drew her attention.
"Merlin, those are really two of the most handsome boys in school." She waved her hand in front of her.
"Have you seen Sirius's tattoos? That's really hot." Another said.
"I wish I could kiss him again." One of them nearly drooled. "But-" She frowned. "He seemed to have gone celibate, hasn't he? Haven't seen him with anyone for a while."
"Maybe he's better at hiding it. Maybe, I should try again."
Okay, Izzie had enough. Afraid they would start asking her questions, she quickly dislodged herself from the group and walked over to her friends. Alright, maybe it wasn't just about asking questions, she may have felt a little twinge of anger of all the girls that had been involved with Sirius. She was barely listening to what Marlene and Lily were talking about, her stubborn head on Sirius. She couldn't like him. He was cocky, overconfident, and a flirt, a big flirt. He has hinted more than once that he wanted to kiss her, but she knew why that was, it was just because -
"Hey, I'm going to slip out." Remus suddenly whispered, bringing her out of her thoughts.
"Reg?" She whispered back, and he nodded with a blush. "Right, I'll just tell them you fell ill." She kissed his cheek. "Have fun." Izzie wiggled her eyebrows. Remus stuck out his tongue before he stalked off.
"Where are you going, Moony?" She heard Sirius ask. Remus mumbled something about feeling queasy before he stumbled further. The next second, Sirius was standing next to her, throwing an arm around her shoulders. "Hello, little Charmer."
"Padfoot." She nodded, ignoring the flutter in her stomach. She eyed his arm, that leaned loosely over her shoulder. "Can I help you?"
He grinned broadly, he leaned down and she could smell the whiskey on his breath as he whispered. "What were you girls talking about?"
"You, obviously." She rolled her eyes. "Why? Afraid what your conquests might tell me?" She licked her lips before smirking up at him. Sirius's gaze was fixed on her lips, he cleared his throat.
"No, they have nothing to complain about."
"Oh." She chuckled. "A little big headed, aren't you?"
"You know me." He was still grinning.
"That I do." She ducked out from under his arm. She needed to get away from the smell of whiskey, leather and rain, especially if they were talking about his exes. She darted to the bar. She poured herself some whiskey and saw James in the corner of the room, sitting on the floor. With an eyeroll she headed his way. "Can I join you?" She asked the obviously drunken boy.
"I always have room for the prettiest girl in the room. Sit down, my little Charmer."
"Oh, forgotten about Lily, have you?" She chuckled as she sat down next to him. She glanced over to where Lily was standing. Marlene had gone, only Sirius remained. They were both looking at them.
"Never, but I think I'm ready to give up the chase."
"Thé James Potter is giving up?" She laughed. "I can't believe it. Just when it was working."
"What?!" He looked at me blurry eyed.
"She's looking at us." She whispered in his ear.
He looked over her shoulder, before whispering back. "He's looking at us."
