Chapter 22

Haseena was having her breakfast peacefully at her Ammi's place while talking to her casually. Karishma was to return the next day, as her one week training got completed now.

Ammi asked her while chewing her food - "Haseena, Teri jeep repair ke liye de rakhi hai toh tu abhi Thane kaise jane wali hai."

Haseena replied in a casual tone while sipping her tea - "Rajveer aur Cheeta yahi paas me hi gaye hain patrolling ke liye ammi, humein yaha se pick kar lenge."

Ammi shook her head and asked - "Karishma kal subah kitne baje tak aayegi."

Haseena replied - "Ammi, hamari kal subah ke baad baat nahi hui hai. Par shayad kal dopehar tak aayengi."

Ammi only nodded, while they heard a knock on their door.

Haseena said - "lagta hai aa gaye dono."

She goes to open the door. To their surprise, it was Arshad standing at the door. He entered the house and sat arrogantly in front of Ammi's chair on the dining table. He seemed to be drunk.

Haseena said with a stern tone - "Tum kya kar rahe ho yaha, wo bhi sharab ke nashe me."

Arshad shows her palm to haseena saying - "Aisa hai haseena ji.. bahot dinon se main sirf aap maa beti ki baatein hi sun raha hun. Mere Pyar ko meri kamzori samjha hai shayad aap logon ne. Mujhe aunty ji se milna tha to main chala aaya."

Ammi said in an angry tone - "dekho humne tumhare ammi abbu se baat kar li hai, tumse kya baat karenge hum. Tum Ghar jao apne."

Arshad spoke in loud tone - "Han to aunty ji, humein pata laga hai ki aapne meri tarbiyat par kuch sawal uthaye hain, meri family ko kaafi kuch bhala bura sunaya hai, kya ye baat sach hai."

Ammi replied in a firm voice - "Hamari beti se milne sharab lekar pahuche the uske ghar, wo bhi tab jab hamari beti ne manzoori nahi di thi rishte ko, waqt maanga tha. Jab humne tumhare ghar par baat ki, toh uss din bhi tumne humse bahot badtameezi ki thi, tumhari maa hamari purani dost hain toh unka lihaz kiya humne warna..."

Haseena asked shockingly - "ammi aapke sath pehle bhi badtameezi ki thi isne, apne kyu nahi bataya humein."

Arshad shouted getting up from the chair and moved towards her - "bata deti to kya karti tum, bhulo mat mere sabhi rishtedar police me hi hai..tum SHO hoke bhi kuch nahi bigaad paogi mera."

Ammi yelled in anger - "tum door khade hoke baat Karo usse samjhe."

Arshad pushed her harshly on the floor when she tried to come in between. Her knees got a bit hurt due to the fall. Haseena shouted - "ammi" & immediately goes to pull out her gun from the holster but Arshad held her wrist and twisted it aggressively. Both were struggling for the gun when Rajvir and cheeta entered the house and were shocked to see the scenario.

Cheeta grabbed arshad from behind while Rajvir rushes to ammi and helped her get up. Haseena moved towards ammi to check her if she was fine and made her sit properly. Ammi gestured her that she's okay. At the same time Rajvir and cheeta started to beat up Arshad. He somehow managed to push them & escape from their hold. Cheeta ran behind him but he got out of his pushing cheeta abruptly.

Rajvir said angrily - "jane de usko cheete, kaha jayega bhaag kar."

Cheeta nodded and asked Haseena in an upset tone - "madam sir, aap log thik toh hai na. Bhagwan ka shukar hai ki humlog sahi time par aa gaye."

Haseena said holding her wrist in pain - "Humlog thik hai cheeta, pareshan mat ho. Thank you aaplogon ne aaj bacha liya."

Rajvir said - "madam sir, aap log abhi chaliye complaint register karenge. Fir dekhte hai isko."
