After two weeks, Karishma was getting discharged from the hospital. After much request by Karishma, The doctor had finally allowed her to go home after strictly instructing her complete bed rest and also to visit the hospital every 3-4 days for her thorough check up. Her wounds were still on a healing stage and she was not allowed to walk for long duration due to the injury in her leg too.Haseena had gone for completing the discharge formalities while Karishma was busy quarrelling with Pushpa ji, who was trying to make her wear a loose sweatshirt, as she had a sling on her hand. Karishma was sitting on the bed while pushpa ji was standing in front of her.
Karishma said with an irked face "Amma ka kar rhi hain aap, hamara hath ukhaad dengi kya, aaram se kijiye na."
Pushpa ji said with an unbelievable expression "Kaisi nautanki hain aap. Itni si zor se hath kaise ukhad jayega aapka. Humein mat sikhayiye aur Hamara kaam karne dijiye."
Karishma said in a pouted tone "Ha hum hi nautanki hain, ek toh aapko pata hai hum jo gift leke aaye the function wale din, woh kahin mil nahi raha. Lagta hai usi din gira diya kahin humne. Aapko pata hai specially Haseena ke liye banwaya tha."
Pushpa ji smiled and pulled her cheeks and said "Toh yeh hai asli wajah, kud kud krne ki.".
Karishma said with a grumpy face "Amma yaar."
Pushpa ji chuckled and replied in a casual tone "Arey Rishu, tumhari paas Jo bhi cheezein thi woh Haseena ko de ke gyi thi nurse uss din. Unse pucho shayad unhe Mila ho tumhara gift."
Karishma said with confusion "Agar unhe Mila tha toh unhone kuch bola kahe nahi."
Pushpa ji told her what happened when the nurse handed over her belongings to Haseena and how she broke down into tears after that. Karishma made a poor face looking at Pushpa ji and was guilt ridden after all what she got to know.
Pushpa patted her head and said in a soft tone "Rishu, woh din gaye jab tumhari laparwahi ka tumhe sirf humein hi jawab dena padta tha. Magar ab aisa nahi hai Rishu. Pyar ka matlab sirf jaan dena nahi hota. Pyar me hum dusron ke liye jeete hain. Kyuki humein maalum hota hai, ki koi toh hai jiski zindagi hamare bina ruk jayegi."
Karishma looked at her with a sad smile. Pushpa ji continued "Hum jaante hain tumne jo kiya woh bilkul sahi tha. Magar jo in dino Haseena ne saha hai na, woh takleef hum samajh bhi nahi payenge. Toh koshish karna ki woh yeh sab kuch bhul jaye, aur isse dugni khushiyan unko Dena."
Karishma nodded with understanding and Pushpaji said again in a sad tone "Baaki hamari bachi hui zindagi me aur takleef bardasht karne ki takat nahi hai. Toh apni Amma ke baare me bhi soch liya kar. Maante hain ki hum tumhari sagi maa nahi hain lekin.."
Karishma cut her short with an irked tone "Kaisi baat kar rahi hain Amma. Aap hamari Amma hain. Apni nahi, apnon se bhi badhkar." And quickly hugged her, encircling her arms around her waist and keeping her head on her stomach.
Just then Haseena entered the room with the discharge papers in her hand. She smiled looking at the mother-daughter duo. Pushpa ji kissed her head and said glancing once at Haseena with a smile "Acha chhoro Humein ab, dekho Haseena aa bhi gayi."
Haseena walked towards them and looked at Karishma with an astonished smile, who was half wearing her sweatshirt and seemed to be stuck in it somehow. She asked suppressing her laughter "Ye kya huliya bana rakha hai inhone Amma?"
Pushpa ji said in a complaining tone "Kya bataye, kab se pehnane ki koshish kar rahe hain. Par Aisi harkatein hain na iski. Aadya bhi Jyada samjhdaar hai iss jadbuddhi se."
Karishma frowned at her sentence while Haseena started to laugh and soon Pushpa ji too joined her.
Karishma said with a grumpy face, with her half body still out of the sweatshirt "Hasiye hasiye khoob hasiye aaplog, hum khud pehen lenge. Humein zarurat nahi hai kisi ki madad ki."
