Chapter 77

The next day, Karishma was instructing her team about the security details for the function going to be held tomorrow. Just then her phone rang with the name of Haseena. This was the seventh time Haseena had called her since morning for some or the other reasons. She excused herself from them and picked up the call "Jai Hind Madam Sir."

Haseena said "Jai Hind Karishma Singh, kaha hai aap?"

Karishma replied "Madam sir hum woh bus kal ki security ki final planning aapke instructions ke hisaab se adjust kar rahe the, kuch kaam tha aapko?"

Haseena closed her eyes for a second and replied in a little weak voice "Nahi woh, humne bus, bus yeh update lene ke liye hi call kiya tha. Waise aap thane kitni der me lautengi?"

Karishma replied looking at her watch "Madam sir, hum ek ghante me pahuch jayenge, duty hours over hone tak. Bus woh Nadeem Khan ke kisi bande ne phone number usne on kiya hai haal filhal me. Uski last location pe investigation ke liye nikal rahe the."

Haseena quickly said in a little upset tone "Akele kahin nahi ja rahi hain aap Karishma Singh. Hum Thane se kisi ko bhej rahe hain."

Karishma replied in a calm tone "Madam sir, waha already dusre Thane ke log pahuch chuke hain, Toh hum akele chale jayenge. Back up ki zarurat nahi hai. Waha koi mila nahi hai, bus shayad unke abhi ke address ka koi suraag mil jaye, isiliye hamara jana bhi zaruri hai."

Haseena said in an understanding manner "Ji thik hai, aayiye aap. Jai hind."

Karishma greeted her back and they cut the call. Haseena stared at her phone's wallpaper with Karishma's smiling photo while resting back at her chair with a little distracted mind. She drank some water while thinking "Aaj kyun yeh ajeeb si ghabrahat ho rahi hai subah se. Sab se toh baat ho gayi, Aadya se bhi mil ke aa gye. Ammi, jiya, Karishma sabko call kar liya, tch."

Pushpa ji knocked at her cabin and entered looking at her troubled face. She asked in a soft tone "Kya hua madam sir, pareshan lag rahi hain aap."

Haseena replied in a complaining tone "Pata nahi pushpa ji, bahot bechaini si ho rahi hai subah se. Samjh nahi aa rha kya karein."

Pushpa ji said in a calm tone "Madam sir, shayad kal ke function ke chakkar me jo itne dino se kaam ka tanaav badh gaya hai, usi wajah se aisa lag raha hai aapko. Aap aaj ghar jaldi chale jayiye. Kal aapke aur hum sab ke liye bahot Khushi ka din hai. Aapko itna bada award milne wala hai. Ho sakta hai uss wajah se bhi thodi bahot nervousness ho rahi ho. Aaj aaram karengi thoda toh acha lagega aapko."

Haseena nodded taking a deep breath and said "Ji pushpa ji, shayad hum kuch jyada hi soch rahe hain."

Pushpa ji asked with a smile "Waise kal Aadya ko bhi leke aayengi na function ke liye. Karishma madam bata rahi thi. Aaplog fikar mat kijiyega. Hum sambhal lenge usko pure time."

Haseena smiled and said "Ji bilkul, aap hain toh uske prati humein koi tension nahi hai. Hum bhi chahte hain ki jab humein samman mile tab hamara pura pariwar wahan maujood ho. Aap aur ammi dono ka ashirwad bhi ho."

Pushpa ji nodded with a smile and said "Hamara ashirwad toh humesha sath hai aapke."

Haseena smiled genuinely at her blessings and pushpa ji left the cabin soon after taking her signature on some files.

Haseena after thinking for a while again dialled Karishma's number with a little hesitation. Karishma picked it up and said "Jai Hind Madam sir. Hum bus nikal hi rahe the yaha se. Koi suraag nahi mila yaha humein."

Haseena smiled listening to the calmness in her voice in spite of this much of disturbance due to her and said "Duty hours khatam ho gaye hain. Aur aapko gussa nahi aata hai kya hum par, subah se kitna pareshan kar rakha hai humne call kar kar ke aapko."
