Chapter 39

The next morning, Haseena was getting ready in her room while Malaika was working in the kitchen. Karishma entered the house with the spare key with small carry bags in her hand.

Haseena came out of her room in her uniform and asked looking at her "Mandir gayi thi aap?"

Karishma looked at her with a peaceful smile and said "Ji, kachori bhi leke aaye hain hum, Malaika hai ki chali gayi."

Malaika came out of the kitchen and said with a smile "Nahi didi bus ja rahi hun."

Karishma moved towards her and gave her a carry bag saying "Yeh lo tumhare bete ko de dena ye."

Malaika takes that with a thankful smile and says "Didi mera beta na pakka aapke dular se bigad jayega. Roz aap kuch na kuch bhejte hi rehti hain uske liye."

Karishma said with a casual smile "kitna pyara baccha hai, kaise bigad jayega. Aur tum ho na fatkar lagane ke liye."

Malaika said moving towards the door with a smile "Aage chal ke haseena didi ko hi sambhalna hoga aise toh, aap toh aapke bacchon ko laad pyaar se hi bigad dengi."

Haseena gave her a smile while Karishma was taken aback by this sudden mention of their future kids. Malaika left and haseena came towards Karishma and chuckled looking at her astonished face. She touched her arm & Karishma said quickly coming out of her shock "Kamal hai yeh Malaika bhi. Amma ke sath rehte rehte, hamari hi taang khichne lagi hai. Amma se ek baar kabhi yun hi keh diya tha humne, ki shaadi ka pata nahi, magar hum kisi bacche ko goud lekar usko ek nayi zindagi zarur dena chahenge. Amma ke pet me ek baat nahi tikti."

Haseena asked with a smile "Aapko bacche sach me itne pasand hain?"

Karishma feeds a piece of sweet to haseena and said with a smile "Haan, bahot. Tabhi toh aapse pyar Kiya na humne. Aapse jyada shaitan bacha kaha milta humein."

Haseena hit her arm and said with a little fretful tone "Hum, hum shaitan hai, asal me aap badmash hain. Saari maturity duniya walon ke liye hai bus. Warna to baccho se bhi jyada buddhu hain aap. Koi humse puche, kaise jhelte hain aapke bachpane ko."

Karishma raised her eyebrows in surprise and said over dramatically "Bahot badhiya..hum buddhu hain aur bachpana karte hai.. Ama chirag lekar bhi dhundhegi na aap toh bhi hamare jaisa sachha pyaar karne wala nahi milega aapko."

Haseena laughed heartily at her childish drama and kissed her cheek with a smile.

Karishma said with a proud smile "Chaliye kachori khate hain."

Haseena nodded but then Karishma stopped her quickly as she remembered something & pulled out a red thread from her pocket. She said with a smile "Ama bhul hi gaye the hum. Ye raksha sutra laaye the, taaki hamari pyari si tweety ko bhagwan ji hamesha khush rakhe aur buri nazron se bachaye."

She tied it on her wrist and kissed her forehead with love. Haseena smiled wholeheartedly and said holding her hand "Chaliye ab khate hai, warna kachori thandi ho jayegi."

Karishma shook her head with a smile and both started to have their breakfast peacefully.

"Tujhe jo kaam diya hai wo ho jayega na?" MLA Vikram Rathod asked in an evil tone while talking on the phone.

The other person replied "Ho jayega sir, sau taka. Aap hamari payment ka dekh lijiyega bus."

MLA said in a rude tone "Paise muh mange milenge, par uss Haseena Mallik ka chapter close karne ke baad."

He cuts the call and smirks with evil thoughts.

Everyone was having tea at badnam's shop except Karishma who was inside the thana, busy with some paper work.
