Time had gotten so far away from Lindsey and Stevie that night; they had stayed talking like a couple of old best friends catching up for the first time, in a long time.

It was four a.m. when he last mentioned the time and they both kind of laughed but decided they should finally part ways till the following week came along.

"Thanks so much for hanging out with me, Lindsey... I really enjoyed the chit-chatting," she mentioned as she walked him to the front door.

"It was a pleasure... So, I'll see ya Tuesday?" he mentioned.

"Yes, sir... Tuesdays and Fridays," she agreed.

"Sounds good," he nodded, putting his jacket on. "I'll call you."

"I'd like that," she smiled.

"Try and get some sleep... You got that little one of yours."

"I know, she's gonna run me into the ground tomorrow."

"Hopefully not too hard considering she had a big day today... I mean, yesterday," he smirked.

"Right... Anyways, drive safe, okay?"

"I will," he nodded and made his way out.

Stevie kind of bit her bottom lip as she watched him walk out to his car.

When he got to the driver's side of the car, he noticed and so he waved.

She did the same and smiled, but then realized, the neighbor from across the street was watching them from the window considering his blinds were wide open. She then shut her front door and prayed for the best; she didn't want any neighborhood drama.

After seeing Lindsey out, she locked her door and made her way up the stairs to finally get into bed after such a long night.

Although she was tired, she had a great time talking to Lindsey that she couldn't help but feel comfortable having shared what she did.

In a way, they had gone through a lot of the same kind of issues as far as loss went, but then as far as family and friends went, dealing with their kids on their own and everything. They could talk about anything and everything and it didn't feel like they were over sharing their life stories.

The blonde quietly changed from her black dress to a nightgown instead and she slipped into bed with ease, moving the pillow from where she was going to lay.

Ireland kind of rolled over and immediately latched to her grandmother's side.

She easily responded by rubbing the side of the girl's head, having always done so to help her fall asleep in the past, though her real goal was to keep her asleep long enough to take a nap since she hadn't expected to stay up all night.

Lindsey made his way into his house and at that moment, Leo was rummaging around the living room with his bag since he had to be on his way to the airport.

"Hey..." Leo arched his brow.

"Hey," Lindsey replied awkwardly as he entered through the front door. "I forgot you were leaving this morning..."

"Yeah, I got work Monday morning and I don't wanna risk a delay and mess up my schedule for tomorrow."

"I understand... I'm wide awake, want me to take you? You don't have to wake Shelly."

"Whatever's easier," he shrugged. "Dude, I thought you were here all this time. You scared the crap out of me."

"I'm sorry," he chuckled. "I didn't know I'd be out this late... Or early," he shrugged.
