The next few months would come and go like never before, but the reality was, it was because so much had happened and so much more was on its way to happening.

Opening a bottle of wine, Stevie walked over to the table in her dining room, a smile on her face as she approached her two friends; Sharon and Lori.

"This is like a dream come true..." Sharon beamed, smiling as the blonde poured her a glass of wine.

"It really is..." she admitted.

"We're gonna be hanging out like we did back in our twenties before you skipped out on us for a guy," Lori smirked, taking a sip from her glass.

"It's gonna be great," she assured. "Once this place is in order, I think things will be a lot smoother as well. Lindsey has his band in and out, but they've been helping us move stuff around and then obviously the kids have been helping us so things will calm down soon, but I'm so over the moon excited about being back in L.A."

"I didn't think you'd ever come back, if I'm being honest," the raven haired woman replied solemnly.

"Neither did I... I can't tell you," she agreed, shaking her head. "I thought Annelle and Trevor would just eventually move in with me and I'd be in that house forever and though I love it and will always cherish it as it's where Adam and me were all those years, it's not where Lindsey and me should be."

"Right," she nodded in response.

"Speaking of Lindsey," the redhead replied. "I am so shocked you kept him a secret so long... You guys have been together for almost an entire year and you told nobody..."

She giggled, "It wasn't the intention but we've simply marveled in our time together. One day, I was teaching dance lessons, the next were in love..." she shrugged. "I mean, of course it didn't happen overnight, but y'know..."

"That's so great," Sharon assured, rubbing her hand.

The blonde grinned, bringing her glass to her lips.

Suddenly, the front door swung open, Trevor, Lindsey and Leo wrestling with each other while laughing.

Of course, all three women turned their heads at the sound, but they kind of smirked and giggled as they watched them nearly tumble through the front door.

"Hey, that's a new lamp by the front door, gentlemen..." the blonde commented, unable to hide her smirk.

Laughing, "Sorry, mom," Trevor responded loosely as he entered to kiss her head. "We came in for a drink," he made his way towards the fridge to find some beverages.

"At least that was the plan," Lindsey retorted. "Then these two knuckleheads started messing around and I got caught in the crossfire."

"Ah, I see---blaming the kids for everything," she teased.

He chuckled and took a seat.

"It's good to see you, Stevie," Leo leaned in to peck cheeks with her.

"You too, honey, I'm glad you guys could make it this weekend. Sorry for the mess, but I'm hoping by tomorrow night, it'll be a bit neater, come evening."

"Ah, no worries. You guys just moved in. Our place still looks like a tornado compared to this place," he smirked.

"It's getting there," Lindsey assured.

"Where are the girls with the babies?" Lori turned to ask after the young men.

"They're at the condo getting ready to go to the beach," Leo gestured.

"Ireland was dying to go after Shelly explained to her the ocean," Trevor assured. "But they'll be by soon, because of course, Ireland wanted to see her grandma."
