"EH?! DESTROYER?!" I exclaimed in disbelief. I mean, there's a person talking to me on the other side of a wall mirror! It's freaky!
The man in the mirror, Meister was it?, nodded. He was smiling in a melancholic way you could really tell that he's pretty lonely. I kinda pity him...a bit.
A rumbling sound echoed inside the church, but the building never shook...strange. It was loud and sounded like a stampede was coming. I looked around nervously, you never know what might show up at any supernatural moment, "Ah...do not worry Lucifer. The rumblings are from my world..." said Meister.
I looked at him with my brow raised, he just said 'My world' right?
"Your...world?" I asked. I still find it hard to believe that I'm talking to a mirror...
He scoffed. not an arrogant scoff, just a scoff that says, Okay...I'll have to explain things to you. You seem to not believe me, is what I think I got by reading between the lines. The rumbling returned again this time, it shook the glass.
"Lucifer...what you are looking through now, is a product of the god, Fate. A Future Plane...a mirror that let's you look at the future." he explained as he sat at the foot of the mirror.
"A mirror that let's you look into the future? So...you're me in the future?!" I'm astounded to see myself still devilishly handsome after a few decades. I thank my mother for that...
"Yeah Meister...I've always wondered about this. You kinda look like him..." stated Hannah who was looking intently in the mirror.
When she said that, I got the urge to see if she was right and suddenly inspected Meister's face. His face, his long wavy black hair, his piercing gaze...and those red eyes...Hannah's right, he kinda resembles me. No...more like, resembles mom. They both have that soul piercing gaze. The only difference is, mom's is much softer while his, is well...extremely intimidating.
"You're right Hannah...he kinda resemble mom...why is that?" I questioned.
Meister looked at us both and suddenly laughed quietly, "You're both so amusing..." he giggled. The atmosphere suddenly grew lighter. Like all the troubles we have on our shoulders were whisked away by his bright smile, "Unfortunately for you Lucifer...I am not you, and you are not me..."
"Eh?" I wondered.
"What do you mean?" asked Hannah.
"You guys are not looking at the future...you are looking at the past. I'm the one who is looking at the future..." he said with a resigned smile. What the hell is bothering him? He really looks like a very lonely guy, "I am one of your ancestors Lucifer...my blood runs through your veins through your mother." he stated.
"My mom?!" I'm surprised to hear that from a pretty young guy who looks like he doesn't have even a single girlfriend to his name.
"If I'm not mistaken, your mother is Japanese correct?" he inquired, which I answered with a nod, "Well if you go to the south eastern countries, most likely in the Philippines, there is this huge disk in the center of one of its cities...this disk is a portal connecting this world to that... but sadly, I had somehow forcefully turned it off in the near future here..." he explained whivh I didn't understand...entirely that is.
"How? Wait a minute...how are you my ancestor? Doesn't make sense to me since you're a guy I'm just talking to in the mirror..." I questioned. I mean it sounds kinda fishy hearing it from a guy as young as him...how did he even know my mother's japanese?
He smiled and giggled, "I guess its kinda hard to explain...hmm...let's see...oh yeah..." he fished something from his pocket, then showed it to us. It was a picture of a girl. A very beautiful girl...long blonde hair, turquoise like eyes, bright smile, and one hell of a smoking hot body...wait, what am I thinking?!
