"Ahahaha grandma...you jest too much! No one uses that term here anymore. Call me Greed!" Golden boy chuckled.

I heard grandma snort and then suddenly chuckled until she finally laughed hard.

I for one have had enough of their talking so...using a huge burst of demonic flame, I blasted away the rubble on top of me.
I jumped up and let my flames burst out, casting an ominous purple light that danced on the walls.

Hell am I furious. But then another thought struck me, wasn't Hannah behind Grandma a little while ago?

Why is she in the arms of "Greed"?

"Ah he got out..." he said with a twinge of disappointment. Holding her in his arms like a hostage

"You asshole! Let her go!" I demanded. Calling forth the Pyro Meggido and the Everto Pilum as I did so.

"Ha! You think you can scare me with those second-hand Relics?! You must be joking!" he tightened his hold on Hannah, slightly choking her as he did so.

"Greed, stop. What do you want?" Grandmama Eve suddenly had a serious tone in her voice.

Completely ignoring me, Greed regarded grandma, "I would like to ask you to shut up grandma. My business is with him..." he turned to me, giggling wickedly I instantly knew something horrible is gonna happen, "You there Wrath! I have a proposition for you!"

"Proposition?"

"Yeah. I'll get right to the point...kid, I want you to pledge your allegiance to big bro Pride!" he stated casually as if the absurdity of it all to me never really mattered to him.

"Now why would I do that?" I readied my weapons. I have to get Hannah away from him as soon as possible.

Grandma Eve also had her hand on her weapon, Grandpa Lucleid is missing and Lust was trapped under the rubble. Grandma Ciel was still standing in her original position and had her hand on her mouth.

Two ancient beings are right there standing but they are doing nothing! Just what is it that's making them make those faces of hesitation?!

"Lost in thought? Kid? Ha! These grannies can't lift even a single finger against me!" Greed explained which further complicated things for me.

Just how is it that they cannot help me here?! It's their future grand daughter-in-law in trouble here!

"You see being bound by the ancient rules that Traitorous Hero placed on the new world, they cannot meddle with our affairs! Hahaha they're too ancient to be even able to!" even if his face was hidden behind his gleaming golden mask, I could tell that he is smiling at the current situation.

"So what is it gonna be? Pledge already!" He demanded.

"What if I don't?" I retorted. Only later will I regret I ever said that.

"If you don't this will happen to the two other girls." he held out his hand and golden sword appeared from thin air.

"Avarice don't do it!" Lust cried out.

Then and there. Without me even able to move a single milimeter to save her...

"This is the first blood in the new war!"

With a cackle that could send chills down anyone's spines, he drove his blade through Hannah's heart...
