"So...this...is the world after Meister's?!" I couldn't believe it. So basically, the other side of the portal Meister mentioned was the previous Earth...
"You know of my husband?" asked Lady Domina-I mean Ciel...
I nodded, "Just met him a few moments ago through the Future Mirror-"
"Plane~" Hannah interjected.
"Whatever." I scoffed.
Ciel's face suddenly turned melancholic. Her eyes softened and her smile broadened, "He really is tenacious..." she muttered.
I was about to ask her why but decided to not pry any further. I might suddenly make her remember something unpleasant.
Anyways...about what I was doing just a while ago...
"Anyways...I'm gonna go off topic here. Gramps!" Gramps looked at me with surprise, "I have a question for you..."
"What in Jehovah's name is going on here?!" I exclaimed.
"What?" He asked ignorantly which by the way is kinda irritating me.
"You know...I suddenly discover our bloodline is the freaking bloodline of WORLD DESTROYERS! Then I meet Grandmama here..." I pointed at Eve who bowed curtly then returned my attention to Gramps who was picking his ears with his pinkie, "then I suddenly realize that everything in this goddamned world is a stupid makeover! Tell me Gramps...why is it supposed to be me when our entire bloodline is the only freaking family of Destroyers?!"
"Hmm? No reason. I mean it is kinda heartbreaking if you had to destroy the world twice right? Take Luxuria here for example..." he pointed at Lust, "He killed the girl he loved when it was his turn to make the world reset."
"It was pretty painful for the heart you know..." Lust commented.
I had only one thing on my mind, I don't care! This is my life you're messing with!
"Then what about Pride? Or Envy or any of the other Sins? Why me?!" I kept ranting on and on. I didn't even notice the sudden change of the atmosphere until it was too late.
In a flash of light, all of us were blown away in different directions. Well, most us. Grandmama Eve was standing at the exact same place she was standing on with the her immediate surroundings scorched black. The same with great grandmama Ciel who had her hand on her lips in surprise.
I tried to stand up, "What the hell happened?!" I groaned.
"You know...the last time I had a run in with grandmama Eve, it was not that pleasant." A man wearing a mask and a golden coat suddenly walked in with his hands in his pockets.
He stopped a few feet away from grandma Ciel. He seemed pretty wary of her, "Long time no see Eve." he greeted.
With a impish smile and quick, 'Yo!' , grandma Eve greeted him back.
Then a thought struck me, Hannah was behind me when that flash of light exploded...
I frantically looked around fearing for the worst when she suddenly popped out from behind grandma Eve.
I heaved a sigh of relief.
Now that she's confirmed to be safe...about that golden boy.
My powers suddenly sprung into action, my gauntlets and greaves manifested themselves on my arms and feet, my horns appeared from ashes and my tail sprang out behind me.
"Everto Pilum! Pyro Meggido!"
Two rips in space appeared and from them, came the handles of my two demonic weapons. One cold as ice the other hot as white flame.
I gripped both on each hand and readied myself.
Given that he attacked us out of nowhere is enough reason for me to consider him an enemy.
"Hey now little bro hostilities can wait..." the man had his hands raised as if he was in surrender, "I have business with grandmama Eve here..." he said as he walked towards her.
I'm like What?!. He blasted us from out of nowhere and he says that hostilities can wait? To hell with that! I'll attack!
"To hell with your bussiness! You die now!" I screamed as I jumped at him, weapons at the ready.
He shrugged and just flicked his hand and in one brief moment, I was blasted away by another flash of golden light.
I slammed hard against the ruined wall making it crumble under the force of my impact and I was buried in mossy rubble.
I could here the golden guy laugh, "Ah little brother...you don't learn do you? You can't beat me! You won't last even a second against me!" he mocked.
I struggled to free myself from the rubble, "Oh y-y-yeah? S-s-says who?" I groaned.
"A lively one aren't you? Seems like you really have the Wrath part downpat!" I heard him say. Well, I am trapped under what feels like a ton-and-a-half of mossy rubble and I'm embarassed to say that even with all my demonic strength, this is too much for me to handle.
"Lu, just sit tight there. I can handle this!" Grandma Eve said casually.
"Lu! Just stay there please!" Hannah cried out. I can hear strain in her voice. Is she being held up by chance?
My heart started racing. Worry started welling up my pressed chest. If Hannah is being held up by the golden guy...
I grimaced at the thought. I'm not exactly usefull if I'm trapped under big chunks of rocks.
"Relax little honeybuns. I'll deal with this guy. Hey! Stop molesting my future granddaughter-in-law that's not your job!" said Grandma Eve.
"Hey I'm not doing any molesting here I'm just holding her hostage." the golden guy said.
Well I assumed he was the guy who was talking. I only heard their conversation through the gaps in the rubble...
"So what do you want..." in a cheery voice I heard grandma Eve say in a clear voice,
"Avaritia?"
