"Shall we go? Hannah?" I asked. Hannah was still sniffling and tearing up...
Guess they knew each other for a long time. Not that its any of my bussiness but still, it intrigues me. What did Meister mean by 'Destroy the gods'?
I get the fact that he's a Destroyer like myself...but to destroy gods? It seems impossible a task for one guy.
"Uh...just to throw it out there, how did you know about Meister?" My curiosity was kinda at it's peak already. I want to know.
She sniffled one last time and rubbed her eyes, "He...I...I just discovered...him...two years ago. When I was looking for my dog."
Her eyes were baggy and sore. She said two years ago? Man...that was way before I even knew that I was a devil..."A~nd?"
"Well he...he didn't explain how I am able to talk to him or who he is exactly back then...he just said his name and asked for friendship...as time passed..." she picked up a shard of the mirror, "we suddenly grew close. Though we treated each other as crazy individuals who talk to mirrors..."
"So...its safe to assume that you're close friends?" What the heck is with my doubtful tone? Were we close to begin with?
Then again...we're engaged...which is completely my fault by the way. But I'm acting way out of character...I'm acting like a...a l-l-l-lover for crying out loud! She reluctantly nodded. Oh hell I made the atmosphere really awkward...I really am still no good with associating with people my age. We went for the door without uttering another word, with our footsteps and the chirping of insects being the only sound that echoed inside the ruined church. I was about to say something that popped inside my head when we apparently bumped against someone. Well it was me who bumped into...wait...I just felt something soft as I hit my face...
"Oh...sorry. I did not see you there. Are you alright?" asked a low feminine voice. I don't mean the old and low hag-like voice, more like a mature teen with a PRETTY FACE?!
"Hey Lu! What the hell are you doing?!" Hannah pulled me away from the beau-I mean...girl and started dusting my clothes with her hands, "Sorry...I spaced out for a second there..." I mumbled as I look at Hannah doing her future-waifu duties. I just said something really assertive there...shit.
"It seems that you are fine." said the girl. Looking at her properly, she really is pretty. Blonde hair, calm turquoise colored eyes with a dull shade of crimson, and one hell of a model figure. She could pretty much be an international model with those perfect curves. She was wearing a red trench coat that didn't go too well with her eyes, she was wearing a brown tank top and jeans with matching military boots...wait, military boots?
I look the weird things that hung on her sides, seems like gun handles to me...okay...guns...wait a minute...
"Everto Pilum!" I commanded, and my Phantasmal Vault made a rip in space time and from its gaping maw, I pulled out the spear Wrath gave me. I readied myself and pointed my weapon at her, "Who are you?" I questioned as I stand in front of Hannah.
She chuckled softly and nonchalantly approached me. Even brushing away my spear as she passed me by, "Really now, children these days. Amusing as hell!" then she continued walking towards the altar. She seemed to have not noticed the fact that I just pulled out a spear from thin air.
"You know...even if we start fighting here now, it won't even be called a fight. It'll be a one-sided massacre in my favor." she said as she went up the steps of the altar. Caressing the sides of the table with her fingers melancholically as she walked beside it as if it invoked a memory.
I'm like, "What~?" my tone half surprised and half arrogant. As much as I like this hot lady, her attitude is pretty bad. Little did I know that I was so damn wrong...
The moment I tensed my muscles, she was already infront of me, smiling sweetly while pointing a hybrid like weapon at my throat. I gulped in silence.
"Child...to fight me is something that you should never wish for. For if you ever do so, death is the only way out." her voice was serious with a little twinge of humor ,but definitely makes the hair on my nape stand straight up.
I lowered my weapon in surrender, "Uh...I'll follow that advice..." I muttered sheepishly. I know I sound like a coward right now but compared to Lust, this girl...her immense aura indictates that she is way more stronger. Stronger than even Gramps and Jehovah themselves!
Hannah quickly hid behind me and clung to my clothes tightly, "Lu..." she mumbled, "Let me guess...your beloved?" the girl asked. Wait a minute, now that I think of it, her grammar is kinda ridiculous...kinda like old school.
Like 'thus he rests with his smile forver etched upon his face' kind of Shakespearian shit...
I kinda got what she said so I just nodded to which she smiled happily and lowered her weapon, "A right decision child. I can see why my young kindred likes you so much." she said sweetly as she took a step back.
I was about to ask what she meant by that until the rickety wooden doors of the church slowly opened and a voice exclaimed, "Sister?!"
I looked behind me and was surprised. It was Gramps together with Lust!
