"So I hear your one of the top of the transfers" a deep voice said approaching Aurora from behind. Aurora was sitting in the cafeteria eating her breakfast with her friends. Aurora turned to look at the boy, confused. "I'm Uriah" he said confidently, "dauntless born" he finished.

"Aurora" she smiled.

"I know" he replied simply.

"How?" Aurora gave him a confused look once again.

"Our the talk of the compound. The mysterious but bubbly and fiery red headed girl" Uriah replied. Aurora didn't understand what the boy was talking about or how he knew about her.

"Sounds like you've got a fan" Maddie said.

Uriah scoffed, "I'm not a fan" he snapped.

"Fan behaviour" Aurora said shrugging her shoulders letting out a laugh.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever" Uriah rolled his eyes. "Hey, my brothers having a party at mine tonight, your all invited"

"Thanks" Aurora said simply turning to face the boy. As he walked towards his table, he looked back to see the red haired girl once more, before sitting down with his friends. The girl turned back to Maddie and William. "Well, that was weird" she laughed shaking her head.

"Why do we even need to learn this?" Maddie snapped towards the girl, throwing another knife at the blue target. The knife bounced of the wall and hit the ground, making a clanging sound. The girl hadn't stuck a single knife and it infuriated her.

Aurora looked over at the girl laughing. Aurora was surprisingly good at this whole knife throwing thing, it came natural to her. The girl threw another knife, it landing right in the middle of the target.

"Your kind of good at this" Christina said to the girl.

"So Is Tris" Aurora said, looking over the the blonde girl, receiving a smile back.

Auroras attention snapped to Al and Eric who were arguing.

"Stand in front of the target!" Eric demanded, Al following his orders. "Four, help me out here" he hinted to the other trainer. Four took a hesitant step forward.

"Stop!" Aurora yelled. "Anyone can stand in front of a target. It doesn't prove anything" she said, glancing over to Four then back to Eric.

"Then it shouldn't be hard for you to take his place" Eric said calmly. Aurora didn't say anything back. She began to walk up towards the target, standing where Al once was.

She watched closely as four picked up a set of knives. Running the blade of one of them along his fingers. She watched as his focus shifted from the knives to the girl. She slightly nodded her head, only noticeable to four, who was starring directly at her.

Aurora stared into his eyes, not once breaking contact as he began to throw the first knife at her. It landing in the wood surrounding the target, roughly an inch away from the girl.

"Come on four, you can het closer than that" Eric smirked.

"Want me to give her a little trim?" Four asked jokingly.

"A little of the top" Eric replied smiling like a psychopath.

Aurora stared deeply into fours eyes, as he stared back, he released the second knife. She felt the wind of the knife above her head. She stood there still as ever. Quickly giving Aurora a sympathetic look, he threw the third knife. Landing next to the girls right ear, nicking the skin of off her ear.

"That's enough" Eric said. "Points for bravery petal, but not as many as you lost for opening your mouth". He snapped, before walking away. "Your dismissed for the day" he yelled over his shoulder, before he disappeared out of the room. Everyone following behind.

Aurora reached up to feel the blood on the top of her ear, before taking a step forward to leave the pit.

"Aurora, are you okay?" Four asked concerned.

"Yeah I'm fine" she said looking up to the tall boy that was now standing in front of her, looking down with a glisten in his eyes.

"You know I only hit you to make Eric give up" he said putting a hand to her shoulder. Aurora looked down towards it, once again feeling his warmth on her bare skin. "Sorry" he said quietly, pulling his hand back to his side.

"I know, it's okay" she said nodding her head before turning her gaze to the door. Stepping around the boy, Aurora made her way out the door and around the corner to the corridor. And before Four knew it, the red haired girl was gone.

Aurora didn't know what she was feeling. She didn't understand why the boy made her feel the way she did. She barely knew him, but she wanted to know more. Something inside of her was pulling her towards him, and she couldn't stop it no matter how hard she tried.
