In which a 16-year old Amity born girl named Aurora Vilana craves to experience life differently to her family.

"Here, let me help" four said putting out a hand to help Aurora down the last step of the ladder.
She kindly accepted it, and then began to make her way over to the group. Half of them had split up and the rest were sitting on the horses of a carousel protecting the flag.
"Where did everybody go?" Aurora asked.
"They went to find the opposition, duh" Molly replied. "And where have you been?" She said sassily.
"Well, Molly, while you were sitting here on your ass, Aurora climbed the Ferris wheel and found their flag, so if you would cut your shit and listen to Aurora it would be very helpful" four said sternly.
"What's the plan?" Uriah said from the other side of the carousel.
"We spilt into two groups, one will go to the right of the pier, the other to the left" Aurora said confidently. The group split into two and they began to charge towards the talk tower.
Somehow Aurora had been stuck with Uriah and four. How did i get so lucky? She asked herself. The group ran towards the tower, hearing footsteps, the three slowed down and hid behind a piece of rubble.
Eric's team were the first to charge, but Aurora and her friends had the advantage of seeing them first, not hesitating to shoot the two people in front of them.
The three found themselves just metres away from the building, but shots were being fired towards them from all angles.
"Go! We will cover you!" Four said looking at Aurora. She just nodded in return and began to run. Making her way into the building and climbing up the stairs.
She began to open the hatch to the top floor where the flag was, but was met with Christina who had been left with the job of guarding it.
Aurora quickly jumped onto floor off of the ladder and out of the hatch. Turning to face Christina, who already had her gun up ready to shoot. Aurora quickly manoeuvred around the girl, who shot a dart at her. As she went to fire one more she realised she was out. Dropping the gun and surrendering.
"I'm sorry" Aurora said before firing a dart into Christina's leg. Grabbing the flag and making her way to the balcony to wave it to everybody.
Cheers could be heard from all directions. Aurora looked down to the tall boy who was standing below the girl, just smiling.

"Hey Aurora, come with us" Uriah said to the girl as they were walking back to the train.
"To do what?" She asked confused.
"It's a dauntless tradition, come on" Uriah said excitedly.
Aurora just laughed and followed the group. Four watched the girl leave with the group, he was proud of her tonight.

Aurora puffed as she reached the top of a building, she thought she must have climbed at least 30 flights of stairs. She looked over to a group of people who were attaching somebody to a harness on a zip line, she now knew what she had gotten herself into. She watched as the released the boy and he took off into the night sky.
"Your next" an older boy said to Aurora. She put the harness on and stepped up onto the ledge, looking down, she froze, they were very high up, one wrong move and that could be it.
"Don't forget to pull the brake when you get to the end" one of them shouted. The three boys lifted Aurora up and planted her onto the hook of the zip line, before pulling her back and then releasing her.
Aurora felt the rush of adrenaline that she always craved. Feeling the wind behind her, soaring through the air. She watched her reflection in the buildings as she flew past them, looking out to the distance and seeing the Ferris wheel at the end of the pier that they were just once at.
In that exact moment, she felt the weight disappear from of off her shoulders. She felt free. In that moment she was infinite.
As she saw the group of people approaching, she remembered the break. Reaching behind herself to grab on to the handle, pulling it as hard as she could. She stopped just before the wall, putting a hand out in front of her, to brace for impact.
The group of daunltess cheered below her, and grabbing her down from the zip line. As her feet hit the ground, she took in a deep breath that she hadn't realised she was holding in. She smiled in disbelief of what she had just done. Leo would never believe it.
