"Where the hell have you been! It's 8pm Aurora!" Maddie said getting up of off her bed making her way to the read headed girl who had just entered the dormitory.

"I'm sorry! I got distracted" she said smiling at the girl.

"Hang on" she said putting her hand up to stop the girl. "No, you got busy!" She said excitedly, grabbing the girl and dragging her back towards her bed, the two sitting down. "You have to tell me everything!"

Aurora laughed at the girls excitement, filling the brunette in on her night, not leaving any details out. "Shit I have to go" Aurora exclaimed when she noticed the time, "I'm meeting four" she said as she stood up.

"Jesus, just can't get enough can you?" Maddie smirked.

"Oh shut up" she said pushing the girls shoulder slightly, "he's showing me something"

"Yeah his-"

"Maddie! Stop" she laughed before walking away, making her way towards the training room.

When she arrived the door was already open, indicating that four was already inside, she walked through the door way, closing the door behind her.

"Hi" she said simply with a smile.

"Hey" he said turning from the computer to face the girl. He stopped for a second and smiled.

"What?" She asked with a laugh making her way over to the boy, slowly sitting on top of the boys lap.

"You are beautiful" he said looking deeply into the girls eyes, planting a kiss on the girls lips. "Are you okay?" He asked concerned.

This confused Aurora "what do you mean?"

"Earlier" he smiled. Aurora laughed and sent him a smack to the shoulder.

"If you must know, I'm a little sore, but I've never been better" she smiled.

"Good" he said simply, picking the girl up and putting her down on the metal chair next to them. He then reached up and placed two dots onto both sides of her forehead.

"Um, if you don't mind me asking, what are we doing?" She asked confused.

"Your coming into my fear landscape" he said simply, grabbing two needles with the serum already inside of them.

This stumped aurora. "Have you done this before?"

"No"

"Great" she laughed. Then he sat down behind the girl on the chair, Aurora laying on his chest. He then grabbed one needle and gently injected it into the girls neck. Aurora was used to the small sharp pinch of the needle by now, she had felt it every day for the past week. Aurora did the same thing, following Tobias, injecting the needle into his neck. She leant back and waited for the simulation to take over.

Aurora woke to find herself standing on a small beam, hundreds of feet above the ground. It was stretched between two buildings. Tobias stood still in front of the girl, trying to balance himself.

"Of course, fear of heights" the girls whispered, looking around. "It's not real" Aurora said getting the boys attention. His posture relaxed when he remembered the girl was there with him, he took a deep breath in. "We could jump".

"That's not how dauntless do it. They want us to get to the other building, so that's what we do" he said grabbing the girls hand and walking along the beam to the other side. Aurora noticed how sweaty his hands were, he was clearly uncomfortable.

As they entered the building, the scene changed, the two were now in a small enclosed room, the walls slowly beginning to close. "Fear of confinement" four said shakily, shifting his body to slow the movement down.

Aurora nodded her head. "What would a dauntless do" she said to herself. Four smiled as he watched the girls brain ticking. She noticed a loose screw laying on the floor, grabbing it and trying to slot it into the gap to stop the walls.

"Any day now" four said, beads of sweat beginning to form on his forehead.

"Yeah, yeah" she said rolling her eyes and finally getting the nail on the right angle, stopping the walls.

Then their surroundings morphed once again. Standing in front of them was a girl sat in a chair, but this girl was Aurora. "Four" she said quietly.

"As a dauntless, we are given orders that we don't always agree with" he said looking at the girl in the chair and back to Aurora. "I have to shoot her, you. But I can never do it with out looking away" he said turning back to the girl in the chair, picking up the gun that was on the table next to him, and lifting it to be align with the girl. Aurora watched as he turned his head to look away, and pulled the trigger. The girl fell to the ground, blood oozing out of the girls bullet wound.

The sight made Aurora feel uneasy, but she knew it was what had to be done. The two backed out of a door frame and their surroundings changed once again.

"Four, why are we in abnegation?" She asked. Four looked to the girl, his eyebrows furrowed in fear.

"Tobias" a voice said deeply. Auroras head snapped to the tall figure, Marcus Eaton. "I just want to help you" he said slowly walking towards the two, a belt in hand. Suddenly the belt was being struck towards Four, Aurora quickly stood in front of the boy, feeling the burning sensation of the belt on her face.

Aurora took a deep breath in and leant forward, feeling Four jump awake. "Are you okay" he asked wrapping his arms around the girls waist from behind. Aurora nodded her head.

"How did you know your scenarios so well?" She asked.

"I come here every night, to see if anything changes" he said simply, leaning back into the chair.

"Has it? At all?"

"No. Not until you came into my life. The girl in the chair, changed from a random person, to you." Four said tracing his hand up and down her stomach.

"Tobias" she paused, "Four, I'm sorry. I had no idea" she said comforting the boy.

"No it's okay, how could you?" He said planting a kiss into the crease of the girls neck.

"And your mum?" She asked gently. Four took in a deep shakey breath, gently pushing the girl forward and sitting up, there he began to pack everything up. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to"

"No it's okay" he said turning back to the girl. "She died, when I was younger, well" he stopped, "I don't want to keep any secrets from you" he said walking up closer to the girl, "she's not really dead, she faked her death to escape my father, she now lives as the leader of the factionless"

"How do you know this four?" Aurora asked, placing a hand on his cheek, their eyes meeting. Aurora noticed how sensitive this topic was, as a tear formed in his eyes.

"She tracked me down and met with me, I haven't seen her since"

"How long since you seen her last?"

"Two years, when I was an initiate" four said.

Aurora just nodded her head, she wanted to know more but she didn't want to push it. "Thank you, for telling me" she said, planting a kiss on the boys lips.
