"Oh. Umm." Had that hug even happened or did I imagine it?
I didn't normally get hugged. Not even Francis did it anymore. So it was a surprise for me to be buried in the arms of the Axis Gang's leader.
"You okay, Birdie?"
"I-yeah." I lied. "Just thinking about Artie."
Gil nodded.
"I think the best way to get to him is through Alfie."
"So ve target Alfred first. Use him to lure Arthur into our hands und kill him." Gil planned.
"That might work."
"So now ve just have to get to Alfred."
"Oui." I said in French.
"Und how do ve do zhat?"
"I could be bait." I suggested.
"Bait?"
"Yeah. I can trap him. Easy." As long as he was able to notice me.
"Are you still sure you vant to go through vith zhis?"
"I am."
"Vell zhat's awesome zhen."
