After a long 9 hour school day of working to get one step closer to her masters, Gwen finally walked through the door at 5:24 pm. She dragged her feet to the couch and flipped down.

Trent smiled, getting up from the chair in the kitchen and made his way over to Gwen and sat down. "Rough day?" he asked, putting an arm around her.

"You have no idea. I don't know what I was thinking, trying to get 2 master degrees at once." Gwen rubbed her shoulders and stretched her neck, "and I think the stress is starting to hurt my neck and shoulders."

Trent frowned, thinking of a way to help Gwen get a break and some stress of her shoulders. He suddenly got an idea. "You trust me right?" Trent got up, his eyes meeting a now confused Gwen.

"Yes? Of course I do. Why?" She said furrowing her eyebrows and slightly tilting her head.

"Just lay on your stomach and make yourself comfortable, I'll be right back." Trent walked into their room and grabbed the bottle of lotion that was sitting on the dresser. He came back into the living room and sat down next to Gwen who was now lying on her stomach.

"I need you to take off your shirt. Only if you're okay with it of course."

Gwen sat up and looked at Trent, "Trent if you wanted to do stuff you could've just-"

"Woah, woah, woah," Trent started, cutting Gwen off, "No it's not like that I promise. It will feel nice I promise, and if you want me to stop just tell me."

"O-kay..?" Gwen took off her shirt and laid back down on her stomach. Trent pumped some of the lotion onto his hands and rubbed around his hands. He then began to massage Gwen's shoulders.

She jumped a little from the sudden touch but melted into it when she realized what he was doing. Trent pressed down on her shoulders, running the lotion into her skin. He made his was to her neck area and gently massaged it, rubbing circles.

"Mmm, that feels good," Gwen said, moving her neck so Trent had more access to it.

"See, I told you it would." Trent continued to work on her shoulders and neck. He focused on the points that carried the most stressed and moved down to her back. While massaging her back, he managed to decrease 3 knots he found which caused Gwen immediate relief.

"Jeez, you are carrying was more stress then you should. You work hard enough as it is."

"I know," Gwen sighed, "I just need to finish my masters and then I'll be free to do whatever I want."

Trent smiled and for the next 5 minutes continued to massage around her body. He noticed how relaxed she was starting to feel, but looked at her to see her fast asleep.

He gently got up and grabbed a blanket to put over her. Trent kissed her forehead and make his way back to their bedroom. Trent knew how much she needed that and being able to help her get rid of a small amount of stress made his heart flutter.
