Guys night is always something that Courtney never looked forward to. Duncan always got drunk and Courtney was always left to deal with him after because he never went back to his dorm after.

It was 11:25 when Duncan opened the door to Courtney's apartment. She was sitting on the couch and watched him walk over to her and sit down next to her.

"Hi Courtneyyyy," he slurred out, slumped into the couch.

"Hi Duncan," Courtney bluntly replied, handing him a water bottle. He slapped it out of her hand and giggled. Courtney rolled her eyes and put the water bottle back on the table.

Duncan picked himself up and leaned up against Courtney. He put a hand on her thigh and squeezed it.

"Get your hands off me," she said, moving his hand off of her. "And get away from me, you smell so bad."

"Oh come on princess, you can handle it." Duncan moved his face towards Courtney and tried to kiss her.

Courtney moved his face away from her and stood up. "Duncan, I'm serious, you reek of alcohol and I don't like it. And I don't want your lips on me."

He groaned, sitting back up, "You're such a party pooper." Duncan grabbed the water bottle and drank the entire thing within 8 seconds.

"Let me make this very clear. I'm not doing anything with you while you're like this." Courtney crossed her arms, looking at Duncan.

"Ugh, well Gwen did it with me, so why is it so hard for you to?" Duncan said, not fully registering what just slipped out of his mouth, until it was too late.

"What?" Courtney's arms dropped beside her and her face was full of shock. "What did you just say?"

"I said- that Gwen-" he paused, now fully aware of what he just confessed to. "Shit."

Courtney's eyes filled with tears as she quickly walked to her room and shut the door behind her, locking it as she slid down the door. She was staring at the carpet, taking in and digesting what Duncan just said. She replayed it over and over again, making sure she didn't hear him incorrectly. Nope.

Duncan, who was now slowly sobering up, was standing outside of her door trying to figure out what to say. Meanwhile on the other side of the door, Courtney's sadness quickly turned into anger and she packed up whatever Duncan had here into a bag.

She threw the bad onto her bed before sitting at the edge of it and quietly crying. She saw a tear roll down her face but quickly wiped it away and took a deep breath.

"Courtney," Duncan said, knocking on the door. "Come on, we need to talk about this."

Courtney had no time or patience to deal with his bullshit anymore and grabbed the plastic bag. Flung open the door and threw the plastic bag at Duncan. He looked at it confused before he realized what they were. "Courtney wa-"

"Get. Out." She said pointing to the door.

"No, Courtney please, let's talk about this," Duncan pleaded as Courtney was pushing him out of the door.

"I don't want to talk to you right now. Goodbye." Courtney gave him one final shove and shut the door behind him. When she heard his footsteps leave, she immediately started to cry. She knew Duncan wasn't all that great, but she didn't expect him to go this low.

Her emotions flipped between angry and sadness, not knowing which one to stick with. After a few minutes of that, she took more deeps breaths and walked to her room to change.

Once she was in more comfortable clothing, she got into bed and looked at the wall. Throughout the night, she tossed and turned, woke up, and cried, realizing that their relationship was over.
