Tyler decided to take Lindsay to a Fall Festival that was near by. It started at 5:30 pm and went until 8 for kids under 15. Then at 9 pm the festival was open for those 16 and older. This was so there wasn't a bunch of older teenagers bothering the younger kids. Lindsay and Tyler got there at 9:30 and people were starting to file in.

"What do you want to do first?" Tyler asked, taking Lindsay's hand in his.

Lindsey looked around and spotted the corn maze. "Let's go in there!" Lindsey said, pointing towards the corn maze.

Tyler looked at it and scratched the back of his head, "Are you sure? No offense Linds, but you're not entirely the best with directions."

"Come on!" Lindsay said, dragging Tyler towards the maze, "It will be fun!"

"If you say so."

Not even 5 minutes later, they were lost. To be fair the maze was a good size, but they somehow ended up in the same spot 4 different times.

"They put hay bales everywhere so we can sit down! How nice!" Lindsay said, sitting down on the bale. That wasn't true, they had walked past that hay bale 4 different times but Tyler didn't have the heart to tell her and sat down with her.

"Yeah.. How kind of them."

"I'm tired of walking, this maze is taking foreverrr," Lindsay complained.

Tyler quietly laughed and held her hand standing up, "Come on, we can do it!" he encouraged, gently pulling her up to her feet.

They continued to walk through the maze, hitting dead ends but also making right turns that led them closer to the end. They were almost at the end when Lindsay started to complain again. "My feet are killing me."

"Do you want me to carry you on my back? I think we are at the end," Tyler offered.

"Oh my gosh, yes please!" Lindsay happily replied. Tyler helped her onto his back and started walking. Luckily Lindsay was pretty light so Tyler didn't have a hard time carrying her.

When they finally reached the end, Tyler gently set Lindsay down. "We finally made it!" he exclaimed, happy to see other people and something other then corn.

Lindsay cheered, "Finally, and thank you for carrying me Tyson!" He cringed at the wrong name calling but shoved it off as she frequently did this.

"Uh, yeah of course! Also, let's never again do a maze," Tyler said, awkwardly laughing and rubbing the back of his neck.

"Agreed! There was way too much corn and the hay bales kept poking me!"

Tyler smiled at Lindsay and took her hand in his. He kissed her on the cheek as they headed to their next activity.
