"I'm up" Iris said shooting her eyes open in a medic room on a bed "you're up!" Asta said happily "mhm~ my memory's a bit hazy what happened...and why's my body sore?" Iris asked irritated "it's a bit complicated but I'll explain later" he said as she got off the bed "you need to rest you've been unconscious for a few days and your magic is still recovering" Aura said flying to her "my magic is the least of my problems" she said twirling her hair in her hand.
"Ha, the she-devil is back and kicking" Yami laughed "what did you say?!" Iris asked surrounding herself in a menacing aura "did I stutter?" He asked "me not being here and caused you to slack off on your manners" she said as a sword formed in mid air ready to strike him "oh yea, some old geezer came in a dropped off this for ya" Yami said handing her a letter "to express my gratitude for saving my granddaughter, I have a special gift to give you" Iris read "seems you saved someone, congratulations" he laughed walking away from her "I wonder who it could be?" She said "it could be the little girl you saved that day" Aura suggested.
Later that day
"Hey" Iris said entering the magic forger's workplace "good you're here, I don't have much time for the important stuff, but as a thanks for saving my granddaughter and I I had this armor sitting around and decided to give it to you" the man said revealing a display case "it's an armor from a distant land the people who wield it are called samurai" he said as iris grimoire opened and the armor disappeared "a new spell" aura said staring at the book "...thank you" Iris said leaving the space.
"Wow, thats amazing, you getting armor includes a new spell" Aura said Cir young iris grimoire "let's go back to the squad" Iris said before a portal appeared in front of her "Finral really useful" aura said flying into the portal "oh yea, iris here" Yami said tossing iris a bag of coins "iris iris, want some potatoes?" Charmy asked showing a pot potato in her face "iris doesn't eat those, something about the texture" Asta said stuffing his face.
"Hm? Noelle?" Iris said watching the noble sneaking around "we should go after her" Aura giggled "now why would I do that?" Iris asked "it would be fun" aura whined pulling iris to her broom. "It's cold!" Aura shivered as she and iris sat on a roof sleeping "snow? It's too early for snow" iris said waking up under a pile of snow before noticing some children walk in a specific direction "let's follow them!" Aura yelled happily flying with the children "dumb spirit" Iris said getting on her broom and flying after the spirit.
"Do you know where you're going?" Iris asked following aura into a cave "I think so, I feel a strong magic power, follow me" the spirit said flying into a cave to see Asta, gauche and a church sister with a few other children "Asta? I knew you were in the villiage" Iris said getting down from the broom "iris!" Asta said running to her "seems you have everything under control here" Iris said turning to the kidnappers "I told you I could lead us here" Aura said proudly before hearing beating sounds from one of the kidnappers "you're the one who hit her, Marie told me. That crime can only be payed for with your life" gauche said kicking the white haired boy "huh, he does have a sister complex" Iris said surprised.
"That's enough gauche!" The old woman said "I'm fine, all healed up and everything please don't hurt him anymore" Marie begged "not a chance, if someone poses a threat to my beloved Marie I will show no mercy" he said "iris, that sound" Aura said flying to a table "ah, hey what's this?" Iris asked holding up a beeping device "wow!" A woman yelled appearing in the cave.
"Pretty slow for someone who can use special magic! We hit a snag think I can get a little help here?" The bigger of the two said "Asta!" The woman called out "the eye of the midnight sun" Asta said staring at the woman "eye of the midnight moon? You know this woman?" Iris asked "eye of the midnight sun!" Aura corrected "oh yea, you were unconscious through it all, they're the guys who attacked the capital and injured the red haired captain" asta informed as the woman laughed.
"Asta, is it them who attacked the capital?" The old woman asked "yea the same one" the boy said before gauche attacked the woman only for his attack to get absorbed by a goo "what sort of sinister magic is that?" The old woman asked "be careful it's real strong I heard she blocked the captain of the silver eagles attack" Asta warned before attacking the goo.
"That's so gross!" Aura said watching the fatter kidnapper turn to a giant monster "she turned him into a monster" Iris said "gauche, Asta, new girl keep the children safe!" Theresa Rapual "we need to do something" Aura said from beside iris "we're leaving Marie" gauche said picking up his little sister and flying away "what?!" Asta said shocked "there's a lot of children here, armor magic: heavens wheel armor!" Iris said as her appearance changed.

"A fairy" a few children said admiring iris "We can't hope to defeat something that big, for now we need to get the children out of here" Theresa said opening her grimoire "Blumenblatt!" Iris said cutting the monster down "way to go iris!" Asta cheered before it grew back "ah" she said running on the cave wall and throwing her sword at the woman "oo what a sharp thing" the woman laughed dodging the blade as Asta and Theresa joined the fight.
Some time later
"That was quite a disturbing fight, seeing that many Asta in one go" Iris said after Asta and gauche defeated the creature "really?" Asta laughed blushing before walking to the blue haired man "ah that light" Asta said as a bright light shone before light magic attacked Theresa, gauche and the kidnapper "I am the leader of the eye of the midnight sun, call me Licht" licht said picking up the crazy woman "his magic" Aura said getting behind Iris.
"Water magic: healing dome" Iris said as a water dome formed around the group and started healing the injured "iris? Thanks!" Asta said running towards the man "ah wait!" Iris said as the man attacked him only for yami to block the attack "anyone know where the bar is?" Yami asked "...really you were looking for a bar!" Asta said as yami grabbed his head "sheesh you got rocks in there instead of brains? That's what people call a joke I'm a magic knight and there's trouble, that's what I'm doing here" yami said squeezing Asta head.
"Oh look at you she-devil, you look beaten up" yami laughed turning to iris "mind you children call me a fairy" Iris said proudly "hah! In your dreams" he laughed "Finral send this old woman and the kid to the village and come back for Gauche" iris strictes taking down the dome "alright!" Finral said "and make sure you come back" Yami said glaring at Finral "we'll, I'm a little bit low on mana so, really I'm not kidding" Finral said turning to his captain "yea? Look at my face does it look like I'm kidding?" Yami asked scaring the boy.
