The Royal Knights Selection Test

"Do me a favor and stop yelling!" Iris said tapping the center of Asta, Leopold and Yuno head "oww!" They all said grabbing their head in pain "I should be the one saying that Mereoleona got me stupid drunk" she said grabbing her head.

"I'm glad you are all able to attend, without further ado I'd like to begin with the royal night selection exam" Julius said before the king came up to explain the process "I'm sure julius must be having a field day with this one" Iris said revealing the teams. "Who's Tamaki?" Iris asked "me you fool! You don't even remember the face you defeated!" Tamaki said walking up to Iris proudly "you fought her?" Aura asked "apparently" Iris said as a man walked up to her.

"Iris want a cupcake?" Charmy said holding a cupcake for iris while she was on julius lap "what are you doing here Charmy?" Iris asked collecting the cupcake "to cheer you you guys on" the girl said before falling asleep "she's weird" Aura said circling Charmy "ooo, what king of spirit is that?" Julius asked his eyes sparkling in anticipation "I am the great light spirit Aura, like my fellow spirit Salamander and undine, I'm the spirit of one of the elements!" Aura said proudly.

"Huh, we're up next" Iris said walking out to the field after the battle with Finral and his team "you use your water magic to protect the crystal while I go for the other teams crystal" Tamaki said running off "who's she to boss us around?!" Aura asked as the third team mate ran off to fight "alright!" A man said as sand surrounded the battle ground "oh cool~" julius said amazed "ha, people of the black bulls are so easy to beat!" The man laughed "arg! My magic isn't working!" Tamaki yelled trying to get the sand away from her face "this is special sand that blocks the persons ability to use magic, now if you don't mind I'll destroy your crystal" he laughed before feeling a cut on his cheek.

"What an immature spell, yes it blocks magic but to a certain degree and sand is weak to water and I've had time to train my water magic, water magic: water slicer!" Iris said as sythe like blades of water attacked him and soon after his crystal broke "done in a matter of minutes" she said proudly "wow I didn't realise how strong Iris was!" Asta said as they announced her team as the winners.

Later

"Great job Asta!" Iris said holding her hands up as he high fived it "aw gee Iris you're making me blush" Asta said giggling in a childish manner "next up is Finral" iris said as finial walked up to them "wish me luck you guys" he said walking to Iris and Asta "Finral there's nothing wrong with running away when push comes to shove" Iris said "I'm your superior and have some faith in me" Finral whined as Vanessa walked up to him to fix his hair.

"It's finally starting" Asta said waiting for the fight to begin "I can't help but feel nervous for him" Noelle said "if something bad happens we're gonna step in" Iris said as the announcer began the match. "Get outta there Finral!" Asta yelled as Langris prepared an attack "if that attack hits him" Noelle said "run Finral!" Vanessa said worried "don't take it head on!" Iris warned as an explosion occurred blinding them.

"Finral No!" Asta yelled after the light cleared "see that he's going after the guy on the ground" a magic knight said "is he gonna be alright?" Aura asked "despicable" Iris said opening her grimoire as she wore her heaven wheel armor and hundreds of swords surrounded the field as Asta, Magna and luck ran to stop Langris "Finral!" Noelle said running to him "water magic: healing dome" Iris said as a dome of water surrounded Finral "monster" Charmy said angrily as the other black bulls members got into fighting stance "yea! No one touches Finral!" Aura yelled angrily.

"That's enough" Julius said entering the battle field "these are grave injuries I'll handle them" Owen said nodding to Iris as she took down her healing dome "let's go" Aura said flying to the scene. "See your friend he's completely pathetic a disgrace to the magic knights" Langris said proudly "Finral is one of the nicest people I've ever met he's a true magic knight you're the failure, you don't deserve the title no matter how strong you are!" Asta yelled angrily "you will regret those words" Langris said glaring at Asta before feeling a sword to his back and a large amount of mana "noble or not I dare you to harm him the day that happens will be the day my blade pierces your heart, you will die" Iris said glaring at him as her hair rose and glowed gold.

"Wizard king before the next team face off with each other allow me to put these black bulls in their place, in fact the fight can start now!" Langris said holding his hand up to attack.
