A fun festival

"Huh, I never realized how cute magna looked with his hair down" Iris said looking up from her book as magna and luck entered the building after their dungeon expedition "you falling for the virgin street punk?" Vanessa asked drinking "no way" Iris said before Gordon and Gouche entered the building "...yea, bunch of weirdos" she said as Gordon started mumbling "I agree" Aura said as Charmy and Grey entered the building.

"You know now that we have something to eat and drink and I've taken that workaholic muscle head off duty for a while I say we outta use this opportunity to do it up big, I'm saying we party" Yami said exciting the group.

Next day

"Yawn" Iris yawned reading her book before yami entered the building "listen up...there's a big festival going on today" Yami said "festival?" Noelle, Asta and Iris asked "captain Yami! Tell me more about this big festival!" Asta yelled "I can tell you one thing it's pretty freaking awesome!" Magna said "?, how do you describe something with those words?" Iris asked "you tell us what this awesome festival is?" Noelle asked Finral.

"Me? okay. As you know magic knight squads compete with each other over the stars, we compete to see who can get the most. This festival is to announce the total number of stars the past year and crown the winning squad" Finral said "except our squad always causes trouble which mean we're always in a race for dead last" Noelle said "yes, but our squad has now defeated two of the members from the eye of the midnight sun, saved and protected village and towns and its people and has given the wizard king three of the magic stones, I'm gonna guess we're up there with the golden dawn, the silver eagles and the crimson lion" Iris added as Finral continued.

Later that day

"Here we are, you rascals go have some fun we still got plenty of time before the announcement" Yami said as they reached the capital "so excited!" Aura said her eyes twinkling in delight "come on iris let's go on a date!" Asta said clinging to her "bye bye Asta" Iris giggled walking away with Aura behind her.

"So Yami, tell me again why I'm here helping you in this stall?" Iris asked angrily crossing her legs as Yami made squid before Jack the Ripper came up to them. "What the, hey what's going on?" Asta asked walking up to Jack and Yami "Asta, just the boy I wasn't expecting come take over for me I have to go do some things and try not to get involved to much with their tomfoolery, Aura stay with him" Iris said taking off the coat yami gave her "oh, okay" Aura said watching Iris leave.

"I hope there's no problem with me coming in here during the festival?" Iris said entering Fuegoleon resting room with a few things in hand "I guess I should first deal with the flowers" she said taking a vase that held a wilting flower she last kept and throwing the water out before someone entered the room "ah, I didn't know someone was here" Nozel said shocked to see iris "it's fine, I'm just here to change a few things" she said using sheers to size up the flowers and placing them into a vase "...you're really good at taking care of flowers, probably better than all noble ladies" he said sitting on a chair beside Fuegoleon.

"Well, being a slave there were many uses for me, I was trained to be the noble wife of a tyrant prince so I know quite a lot of things" she said freezing in place "...that's before he unexpectedly died, then things changed so I was spared from such a fate" she said placing the vase by the window sill "...sorry" he said avoiding her gaze "why are you apologizing? do you feel guilty? As a magic knight you're not able to protect the people of the kingdom but you have no problem putting other nobles and commoners down like it's second nature? Like you didn't swear to protect people with your life? I hate nobles, pompous useless people who think they're better than everyone else when you're not" She asked glaring down at him.

"...Don't be nervous I'm just kidding, i did hate nobles but I've been swayed and I owe it to my squad and this man" she said sitting on the bed lifting Fuegoleon head and giving him water to drink "sorry" he mumbled blushing watching her apply ointment on Fuegoleon lips "the announcement is about to start" she said staring out the window out to the sky.
